We had a lovely stay, everything was perfect. We were following the photographer’s route, exploring the beautiful corners of the Atlantic coast. Stella Maris B&B is very comfortable. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast, good night sleep. Taking home good photos and memories

Dieses Hotel war einfach einmalig! Die Lage ist unschlagbar – ein traumhafter Blick aufs Meer, der jeden Moment besonders gemacht hat. Schon beim Ankommen wurden wir von einem einzigartigen Host empfangen, der mit seiner Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit sofort das Gefühl gegeben hat, willkommen zu sein.

Das Abendessen war hervorragend – nicht nur geschmacklich ein Highlight, sondern auch in einer wunderbar entspannten und unterhaltsamen Atmosphäre. Auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen: frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und mit viel Freundlichkeit serviert.

Es hat uns wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und die Zeit dort in vollen Zügen genossen. Ein Ort, an den man unbedingt zurückkehren möchte!

Excellent service from friendly staff. Superb location with great view. Comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent personal service, great food, great bar. We will be going back soon!

Beautiful scenery

Excellent location and service. The owner, rolf was the epitomy of the perfect host. Its a perfect place for a quiet getaway.

Stunning area, we even had rainbows appear! The owner was amazing, the hospitality superb and the room was lovely. It was appreciated that you could get an evening meal if you wanted as it is a fairly remote area. We did a long hike in the country, so beautiful.

I had a wonderful stay at the Stella Maris Shore House and wish I had been able to stay longer. It is right on the shore with direct views of the ocean. You can even see the Sea Stack in the distance. The room was very comfortable and I enjoyed a long bath and a long sleep with the sound of the ocean. Breakfast was delicious. They offered a dinner option and it was tasty. The people were so nice. I got a tour of the location and help with my luggage to and from the room. It's such a quiet location. Easy to park by the door. Not too far (a drive) from the town if you need it.

Perfekte Lokation direkt am Atlantik mit prachtvollen Aussichten. Der Sonnenaufgang ist ein Erlebnis der Sonderklasse. Wie auch der Gastgeber Rolf, der sein ganzes Herzblut in dieses wunderbare Haus steckt, was dem ganzen Aufenthalt einen sensationellen persönlichen Touch gibt. Das Frühstück wie das Nachtessen waren outstanding. Wir könnten viele, viele Tage dort verbringen.

The B&B was a delight from the start to finish. The owner was incredibly attentive and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The building itself is full of character and the stories behind it from made the stay memorable a perfect blend of history, comfort and a heartfelt hospitality.

Struttura incantevole, ricca di storia e accogliente, curata e pulitissima, cucina e servizi ottimi, posizione stupenda. Vista sulla baia e su Dun antistante, passeggiata splendida sull’oceano ritorneremo sicuramente per fermarci qualche giorno. Complimenti a Rolf!

We absolutely loved our stay at Stella Maris Shore House. Every room offers stunning ocean views - so close you can hear the waves day and night. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, especially enjoyed in the glass-covered patio, which makes even stormy days feel cosy and special.

But the real magic here is the people. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with locals and travellers alike enjoying this little place of paradise. And then there’s Rolf - the owner and heart of the place - whose kindness, humour, and dedication make you feel less like a guest and more like an “old” friend. We’ll be back the first chance we get. Thank you, Rolf and team, for making our stay so special.
