Bar was closed at 12 midnight when we returned to the hotel. We asked the staff for a drink and they refused to open it. We went elsewhere for a drink. When we returned at 1am the bar was open and full of people. Incredibly disappointing and frustrating and no reasonable explanation from the staff as to why we were sent away. Have stayed here many times before but never again.

Fantastic weekend and the location of hotel was the highlight.
Pros:

Location is perfect for city visit. Availed of valet parking which was a fantastic. Great breakfast and very nice staff.

Cons:

A little bit tired - carpets, furniture etc.

A fantastic stay in the heart of Galway
Pros:

Fantastic location in the heart of Galway City. Despite this, the rooms are quiet with no noise disturbance which is great for a good nights sleep.

Staff are professional, efficient and friendly.

Room was clean, modern and spacious.

Breakfast had great variety & nice that you can order fresh hot food.

Reduced parking rate, €11.40 for 24 hours.

Cons:

No bathroom door.

The bed was 2 singles pushed together & 1 mattress was higher than the other so not as comfortable as hoped.

Room was cold & had to put the radiator on which took a while to heat the room. It would be nice if heating was on, even low, upon arrival.

Parking is a bit of a distance when lugging bags and set down area had the same cars parked in it for over an hour.
