I liked the staff, they were friendly and accommodating. I also liked the cafe around the corner, Sisters M&M.
I didn’t like the shower. The steam extractor fan is too weak, and if you shower hot then the whole bathroom is filled with steam.
I feel the hotel is a good location, not central, but with good transport links and very close to Av. Gaudi, Hospital de Sant Pau and up from Sagrada Familia. We were able to get metros and buses to all parts of the city, including the airport. Each room has a small balcony with two chairs which we occupied watching local people about their business. Our room was not big, but the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was basic but fine for our needs. There was a fridge big enough for a few bottles of water and/or alcohol, there are plenty of food shops and eating places in the vicinity.
Use this hotel as a base to spend your time exploring Barcelona.
There was a limited number of hooks to hang clothes such as jackets. I would have liked a couple of glasses to drink our beer. A small table on the balcony would have been good for the glasses, but I accept this is a two star hotel so it will have limitations. Myself and my wife would happily return another time.
