It was fine, no regrets, and would stay again.
Pros:

Good food, good beer, friendly staff, and good value for money too. Would stay again.

Cons:

Central heating wouldn't work on arrival but came on later.

Lovely room. Quite pricey but seems to be the case on Islay.
Pros:

Lovely room. Comfortable bed, excellent heating. Great breakfast.

Cons:

In the restaurant on the second night it took 50 minutes to deliver a starter and there was just us in there. Nobody checked on us so we felt a bit neglected. That said, the main courses pretty quickly after, and the food was good

Pros:

Alle waren superfreundlich und das Essen war hervorragend. Endlich ein "full Scottish breakfast" und auch das Abendessen war köstlich.

Love the place, can't wait till we can do it all again
Pros:

We'd eaten here before but never stayed, lovely room, gorgeous gardens. Lost a good couple of hours just watching the garden birds from our room. Staff were friendly and the food was great.

Cons:

No complaints, I mean seriously, none! Even with live entertainment on every night for the festival it was a peaceful stay.

The hotel was perfect! Quiet comfortable rooms, Great food and a perfect location for visiting.
Pros:

Our most favorite accommodations during our stay. The room was very comfortable the bed excellent. The view amazing and the food was excellent. The staff was so helpful and kind.

Cons:

We would love to have stayed longer but we had to head home.

Great central location, helpful friendly staff
Pros:

Great central location with well stocked shop across the road. Friendly and helpful staff. Dinner was very good too

Cons:

Room was quite tired, particularly the bathroom which is in need of a refurbishment. Also wasn’t keen on being put in a dark corner of the separate bar for dinner and breakfast because we had our dog with us
