L’emplacement est exceptionnel, très bel hôtel avec vue sur le fjord magnifique. Excellent rapport qualité prix, les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables, le petit-déjeuner est copieux, le dîner délicieux. Nous adorons le salon typique, confortable et feutré ainsi que les soirées animées par le groupe de musique celtique exceptionnel !!!

Excellent breakfast as always.
The bar could do with a little revamp especially the flooring🤔And we love the open fires but they seem to put damp fuel on them causing them to smoke.It wasn’t possible to sit in the reading rooms because of this.

Beautiful scenic location, lovely old world hotel vibe, clean and food from bar/restaurant was delicious.
I had an unpleasant interaction with member of staff during breakfast, tried to get member of staff's attention (politely I might add) and she roared at me like I was a dog. Not very professional. Kind of irritated that I didn't get chance to pull her up on her behaviour and/or speak to her supervisor. Aside from this all my interactions with other staff were fine.

it was beautiful, the people were incredibly nice, it felt so wholesome to stay there.
The bar stays open until 1am and the food is really good.
The beautiful setting is unreal. 2nd time staying here.

The location. The rooms were very comfortable.
The dinner and cooked breakfast were excellent.
My wife and I loved it
The staff were so friendly.
The only fault was the toilet seat. Unable to pee standing up. Kept falling down. Very important for your male guests. Very minor.
Highly recommended! Everything exceeded our expectations. Really friendly stuff, reception and waiter, delicious breakfast and clean room. And so cosy common room with evening open fire.
