Lindstrøm Hotel

Great location and owners are lovely. Ate at the restuarant twice (limited dining options in Leardal). Only negative was that the drain for showers/tub was “interesting” and could not keep up with volume of water.

Owners are lovely people and they changed over car charges (only one here) in the middle of the night.

Das Hotel besteht aus mehreren Gebäude, teilweise alt mit historischen Zimmern, teilweise modern. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, allerdings hatten wir Aufzugsgeräusche; es gibt einen großen Frühstücksraum und kostenfreie Parkplätze; Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe (Supermarkt gegenüber). Auch ein Restaurant ist vorhanden.

Hotel whilst basic provides good quality and clean accommodation. The hotels manager was helpful and informative, the staff are diligent provided additional amenities. Overall customer service was second to none and would definitely stay there again.

Kjempehyggelig betjening, og utmerket frokost. Hotellets middag er også å anbefale. Et veldig hyggelig opphold.

Proprietà e personale gentilissimi. Camere ampie anche se un po’ datate. Ristorante curato e ottimo, assolutamente da provare. Nel complesso ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, considerando anche la eccellente colazione.

The people were so friendly! Great service, they even charged our electric car for us. Only drawback was bathtub was too high off floor. Older people have a hard time getting in and out.

Koselig rom og bra renhold.
Kjempe god frokost hvor en kunne velge mellom egg eller omelett inkludert bacon eller laks. Pluss for at dette ble tilbredt til hver enkelt og servert ved bordet. Servering av b.l.a ingefærshots ved bordet. Buffe med resten av det en kunne ønske til frokost pluss vafler som en kunne steke selv. Flott service fra alle som arbeidet i frokostsalen. Hotellet ligger sentralt i Lærdal og har bra parkering,
Alt i alt et koselig Hotel med super service.

Property was very tired looking with old carpets and dark corridor. Very muggy as no AC or fans and windows hardly able to open. Limited dining options if any especially as we were vegetarian. Staff very nice and went way out to help. Good breakfast. Hotel was quite expensive considering facilities and room standards. Very high bath and uneven floor from room to bathroom. Nearly tripped. Definitely needs renovation urgently.

The property is located conveniently between the Borgund Stave Church and the Flam Fjord tours. That's about all I can kindly say.
We were there during a somewhat unusual heatwave for the area. It got up to 28 degrees Centigrade that day. Due the age of the hotel, and as it seems to be normal practice in Norway, the hotel does not have air conditioning. Strangely though, this hotel was the only one during my trip that did not offer to provide fans. The room was sweltering and it was impossible to sleep.
Also, the hotel management did not inform us that on our first night, the pub behind the hotel was hosting the town's annual summer celebration, complete with live rock band which STARTED at 1030pm.
So the room was not just stifling hot but my phone recorded 60 decibels of sound coming in through the closed windows. Until past 1:00 in the morning... Which made it getting up at 7:00 a.m. for my scheduled tour that day very unpleasant
My bed was a glorified futon with very little support and had a weird slope to it.
The food is mediocre. And while the staff was pleasant, that doesn't make up for a disappointing breakfast.
The other thing, I came in an EV and had asked the hotel about charging facilities. They assured me that there were plentiful charging options in and around the village. This is not correct. The nearest chargers are about a 10 minutes outside the town. The upside is, the hotel let me use their 7kw slow charger for free, but had to share with other guests

Flott og rent rom, god frokost der betjeningen gav god ekstraservice. Nydelig mat i resturant . Hyggelig betjening

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, als das Problem im Bad nicht behoben werden könnte haben wir sofort ein anderes Zimmer bekommen. Frühstück war super
