Please note that the property hosts music events and live bands perform on Friday nights from 20:00 onward. On Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and bank holiday Sunday nights, there is an in-house night club until 02:00. Some rooms may be affected by noise.

Great Location with free secure parking at the back door. Comfortable bed. Upgrade. Quiet despite wedding.

Friendly staff, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Great breakfast. Love the secret door for the stairs!
Only one key per room, and some of thr party were turned away at the door by the bouncers in the evening because of this.

A great location in the centre of Kilkenny. The hotel has some great bars to enjoy and the breakfast in the morning is good. Room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. We were in the garden suites and we found them quiet and tucked away from the main building for a really good night’s sleep.

The hotel was stunning and the room was really beautiful and comfortable
The only thing that let the room down was you couldn’t have the curtains open as it was on the ground floor. We stayed in one of the suites (21). Some voiles/sheers would have been great on the windows as they’d let light in but add a bit of privacy. The only other thing was the shower pressure was very poor. Other then that we had a fantastic stay and we will definitely be back!

Communal area were beautifully decorated. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel location is great.,
Bed in our room was 2 beds pushed together to create a bigger bed. Only thing was there was a ridge down the middle of the bed which wasn’t great. The mattress also were not comfortable and were very squeaky. No carpets in the rooms or outside the rooms … which meant that sound travelled as nothing to absorb sound.., and so which in turn lead to a noisy area. Especially when other guest coming and going… conversations were loud, door closing were banging. The bathroom was nice.. but the shower was terrible. Only a trickle of water… no power at all in the shower. Because of these issue, I would be hesitant to return, even though the location of the hotel is great and the communal areas were beautiful. The staff were very nice and helpful . If the room issue were resolved, it would be a fantastic spot.

Im sure it was because it was Paddy's weekend. But restaurant and bar staff were pretty slow . And it was pricey for not even including a breakfast. Putting it down to the weekend. Would still recommend it. Very good overall
