Nothing I didn't like.
The staff where super helpful and the location of the hotel was amazing

Location. view
N/A
The location of the hotel is very handy for Scrabster or if working at Dounreay.
I was late arriving so the kitchen was closed.
I didn't wait for breakfast so I don't know what the food was like.
The room was clean.
Room was cold on arrival and smelt slightly damp - as per the scottish word "foostie".
No TV or radio in the room.
Toilet window didn't close properly.
The mattress on the bed was very soft.
I wouldn't like to stay in the chalets if the weather was cold outside.
Good location, plenty of parking
Very run down and outdated
Used predominantly by construction workers
The exit door
The double room booked was in a portacabin style annex, knot within the hotel as listed, filthy toilet, no cleaning done from previous guest, dirty cups, dirty linen , rubbish lying about, smelt mouldy which brought on asthma attack. This was the second room offered as the first was the same.
Good breakfast, good location
We hadden prachtig uitzicht richting de klif en de zee

Excellent stay and the staff were first class
Stayed in Chalets - poor quality
great spot near town nice walk along the seaside
I believe there was a nice view.
If you are looking for a Norman Bates style Motel this is definitely the place for you!
Having prearranged a room that was suitable for my Mothers disabilities (who also smokes) we were given, what can I can only describe as a Motel style room, away from the main hotel, which is officially classed as "Chalet"!
Now. It's important I mentioned, I had booked a room that was non refundable & the booking could not be amended.
As we didn't arrive until after 9.00pm, there was nowhere to park, let alone any Blue Badge paces.
Zero "street lighting" with the only real source of light being passing headlights if you got lucky.
Definitely not ideal for my Mother, but hay ho, we have arrived late & she stayed in the car, while I decided to go & inspect the room before taking our luggage in.
After nearly being knocked out by the smell of urine, as I approached the "Chalet"door & was welcomed by a room that, I could only describe as a battleship grey, glossed painted, straight out of an American horror film. Okay! Everyone has different tastes in decor.
This is where things become more serious, such as the bathroom, that was supposed to be for disabilities, didn't have a single support rail around the toilet or throughout the room in general.
The shower, well, was flaking with rust & was very worn by time, with that annoying ingrained black mold that you get in sealant after time was visible, grey towels etc.
Upon venturing back into the bedroom, the ceiling had a very questionable brown mark (not water damage) that looked like someone had maybe thrown something at the ceiling?
Now (& unfortunately I left my phone in the car, so, do not have visual proof) I can only hope that the small brown spot on the bedding was nothing more than an apple seed, but at this point, I high tailed it out of the room, went straight to Reception to hand the key back.
