Great view and lovely breakfast
It is an old hotel in a superb location. Run as b/b over winter months it was quiet and comfortable….an ideal place for banishing the winter blues. Please dont change it!
I cannot think of anything.
The location
The outside & reception area needs upkeep.
The room was spacious, had a great loch view and a very comfortable king size bed. The bath was a compact one and the over bath shower was a little low if you are above 1.75m tall. Breakfast was very good with excellent service from a very friendly and hard-working young woman. The only minor criticism was that the smoked salmon was a little too thickly cut. The Scottish cooked breakfast was excellent and overall the food was of good quality and plentiful. Low season rates were excellent value.
It would have been good to have a bar service in the early evening but as it was low season the bar / restaurant was closed. Perhaps the hotel could consider having a small honesty bar and the fire lit in the sitting room during the off-season. Our room was a little tired and could use a refresh, e.g., one bedside drawer unit was broken and there were some damp stains on the carpet by the radiator. The dog rate of £30 per stay seemed a little steep.
We are just back from a fab winter break at the Airds Hotel. Comfy and clean room, great views, cosy atmosphere and amazing customer care from lovely Katie, the manager. Oh, and truly delicious breakfast! We were after a relaxing stay and the hotel really helped to achieve it! Thank you so much! We will hopefully be back in the summer :)
Great welcome & service from Katie ? Lovely warm room with great view of the sea. Exceptionally quiet.
Dust on surfaces of room and decor a little tired and dated.
Beautiful area and location

Katie really helpful all staff first class.

It was good but more vegetarian options would be appreciated.
The location was stunning. The suite we booked was lovely and had fabulous views over Loch Linnhe. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent and the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.
Tout était top
Rien
This is a lovely little building out the back of the inn. It was spacious and well appointed. There is a washer/dryer combo and full kitchen. The rooms were very comfortable and the views are lovely. Port Appin is quite out of the way, but it's worth the drive. Such a pretty and lovely little place!
Dinner in the restaurant is pretty pricey, but also tasty. Just be prepared for the cost. We did not bring groceries (our fault!) so the inn was our only choice.
Certainly not a complaint - just be aware. :)
Great location. Friendly staff. Very nice breakfast. The hotel is a little run down but it was clean. Carpet was a bit dingy.
Set in a beautiful location.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The Hotel was very comfortable and clean.
Perfect experience.

We've been to Port Appin many times, probably our favourite place to visit, but never stayed at the Airds before. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, very cosy and warm despite the time of year and in a beautiful location with a lovely sea view. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, very clean with a good modern bathroom. Hotel doesn't offer dinner over the winter season but breakfast offering was excellent with a very wide range of choices and manager Katie looked after us very well. Would definitely stay again.
