Great location to enjoy Port Appin, the hotel is just not firing on all cylinders yet.

Cons:

It felt like the hotel was just emerging from being mothballed over winter. Not yet fully functional, still ironing out kinks in the restaurant and rooms, although staff on site are very nice and helpful. Seems to be managed remotely.

It was adequate for the day visit to Appin.
Pros:

The location , good breakfast but would prefer to order on day and not day before.

Cons:

Advertised pictures of main building did not match up with current condition of property

Amazing highland views
Pros:

A vista apartir dos quartos de cima (últimos andares) é simplesmente maravilhosa! Acordar e dar de caras com o que de melhor as Highlands tem para mostrar, é especial e só por isso valeu a estadia. É situado num belo local e mesmo não estando inicialmente nos nossos planos, não resistimos em visitar a zona a pé. O edifício é charmoso. O pequeno almoço é muito bom. Preço excelente na baixa estação (sobe no verão).

Cons:

Infelizmente alguns detalhes deixam a ideia de desleixo.. teias de aranha, janelas estragadas, carpete gasta, gesso da parede a cair em alguns pontos.. precisa de uma revisão/reestruturação. Dito isto, não hesitarei em voltar.

Pros:

Although it was in a remote area the view was stunning and there were ample parking spaces.
The hotel was situated on the kerbside but the road led to a dead end and it was very quiet. We had a front room and were not disturbed by any traffic noise.
We had an evening meal and breakfast which were both 5* and even more enjoyable by the fantastic sea view and lighthouse on the doorstep.

Cons:

Slightly dated in the corridor area but our corner room was huge and public areas were lovely.

Non era molto pulita la camera e si sentivano tutti i rumori delle persone che camminavano al piano di sopra.

Wonderful place, will come again.
Pros:

Staff were engaging, professional and friendly. Room was comfortable, views are amazing. Good was also excellent.

Cons:

Perhaps just for this time of year but front door is always locked with a keypad, not very inviting.
