Food at corsewall was absolutely amazing. I am not used to fine dining cuisine. This was probably my first time . I was not disappointed. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely amazing. Staff were so friendly and so helpful. Our overnight stay was fab

Corsewall lighthouse fulfilled my wish for a wild and rugged stay with good food and wine
Pros:

The Corsewall breakfast was delicious with lots of options.
The staff were all attentive and very pleasant. The chef was very passionate about his food and produced lovely food.
The room was clean and comfortable.

Dreadful, unclean and unsafe. Would not recommend.

The Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Safety and Cleanliness The entrance to where we stayed, which was about a 5 min walk from the main building, was unsafe with loose slabs. The room was unclean with stains on the carpet and cobwebs on the ceiling. I felt the cost of over £275 per night outrageous bearing in mind the accommodation on offer.
Did receive a credit (not a refund) from Booking.com for £69 which I found insulting.

Pros:

We stayed for dinner at the lighthouse which was superb, very good value for money and made our stay. The chef explained his food and was very well educated in his field. The location was lovely and we enjoyed a walk along the coast in the evening and slept with the window open to listen to the sea.

Cons:

The building is tired which we weren't expecting as the price of the room is on the more expensive side.
