Meadow Court Hotel

Our room looked over a flat roof full of debris. The windows were dirty and we couldn’t open window past an inch. The air con was ineffective and noisy. We spent a very hot uncomfortable night. The mattresses were also poor.

Although the staff were really friendly the service was a little slow even though it did not appear to be that busy. When we arrived it was in the evening and took a while for someone to come to reception and check us in. In the bar I went to order a drink a couple of times and staff were not available at all so took a while to get a drink. It also took a while to be seated when we went to the restaurant for dinner - however the food was lovely and staff were so nice.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay, especially considering that this is a 4-star hotel. We had a very unpleasant surprise when we first entered the room. The windows were quite high up and overlooked the air-conditioning units. The room was also very poorly insulated and extremely humid; in the morning, there was condensation on the windows. We also noticed a thick layer of dust, particularly in the corners of the bedroom and bathroom. There were several maintenance issues as well: the bathroom sink was leaking, and when we took a shower, water leaked onto the floor, leaving the entire bathroom wet. The ventilation system, located directly above the showerhead, was also covered in a thick layer of dust and clearly had not been cleaned properly. Finally, we were disappointed with the breakfast, which mainly consisted of industrial, processed products. Overall, the experience was far below what we would expect from a 4-star hotel, and we found the value for money very disappointing.

The hotel rooms are a little bit dated and tired

Hotel was dated and could do with some TLC. Should have been a path to walk from Hotel in to Loughrea.

Two of us travelled together & five other joined us for dinner yesterday evening the food was lovely but the service was rushed & hurried we were moving into the bar & wanted to pay in twos & seperately this seemed to be a problem & it was suggested by the staff member one pay & the others could transfer what the cost of their meal was by using revelot two of our group are in their 70's & don't have rsvelot & for the record I don't have it either. One of our group is a wheelchair user needed the toilet imagine the dismay when the door of the disabled toilet opened & a young male member of staff exited. The mirror in the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile too

Plomberie à revoir, les robinets d'eau ne coulent pas.
Les fenêtres gagneraient à pouvoir être plus ouvertes.
Literie pas incroyable à mon goût. Avis moins partagé par mon conjoint.
Nous ne nous sommes pas compris avec deux membres du personnel : erreur de commande pour le dîner et le règlement.

Could do with new mattress, on bed , keep rolling into the centre of bed.
