Hotel was good overall however a bit dated in places.
The dinner was great however I cant speak about the breakfast as there was a gas problem so no cooked breakfast. However I did get a slight refund which was good.
Chambre très spacieuse, décorée dans un style club très British, avec de toute évidence un entretien permanent de l’ensemble des équipements. Un personnel de Bar et de petit déjeuner particulièrement efficace et soucieux de notre confort. Une prestation de service et des produits « So British » et de qualité.
Une mention toute particulière pour le personnel du Bar le soir qui a su malgré l’heure tardive et l’incapacité à nous proposer un plat chaud préparé par les cuisines, nous proposer rafraîchissements et club sandwiches et glaces qui ont grandement égayer notre fin de journée. Merci !
Good location just off the main road so nice and quiet, the few staff that were there were nice and helpful and the breakfasts were nice too

The hotel could do with having one more member of staff on during meal times. The staff working were excellent, but spread a bit thinly between tables and the bar.

The staff were great. The receptionist was very helpful and cheerful. The waitress in the bar/restaurant was like superwoman. She was the only server and managed to serve quite a busy restaurant with speed and efficiency with time for a few words for everyone. The bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom on first inspection looked clean and quite new, but then we noticed the toilet seat and taps were loose , the bath was very slippy and no bath mat. The breakfast was disappointing. Hard poached eggs and tasteless bacon.
Old style hotel lovely lobby area very tastefully decorated..bar area which served food was cosy food was good.
