Pros:

Ich war mit gar nicht dessen bewusst, dass es in Merinigen ein derartiges Hotel gibt. Wir hatten ein tolles, grosszügiges Eckzimmer mit Balkon. Das Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und in gutem Zustand. Besonders angetan waren wir von der Lounge mit Kaminfeuer. Die Preise in der Bar und im Pub sind für Hotelgäste reduziert und fair. Ach ja, nicht vergessen: Die Burger im Pub sind fantastisch!

Cons:

Nichts hat mir nicht gefallen.

E’ una bella struttura in una posizione strategica

Cons:

La reception è praticamente inesistente. Prima di arrivare ho telefonato più e più volte e scattava sempre la segreteria telefonica. Inoltre, cosa assurda , soprattutto per un 4 stelle, la porta in vetro che separa il bagno dalla camera da letto non raggiunge il soffitto per cui non c’è in pratica separazione tra bagno e camera. E non c’è neppure una ventola !!!

Nach der Buchung über Booking.com wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass gemäß dem Schweizer Meldegesetz sowie den Vorschriften des Kantons Bern alle Gästedaten über einen Online-Link registriert werden müssen. Dieser Link funktionierte jedoch nicht.

Beim Check-in war das Personal unfreundlich und wenig serviceorientiert. Es kam sogar zu einer unnötigen Diskussion mit meiner Ehefrau. Ein früherer Check-in war kategorisch ausgeschlossen – wir mussten ohne jegliche Kulanz bis genau 16:00 Uhr warten.

Um 16:00 Uhr war eines der zwei gebuchten Zimmer noch immer nicht gereinigt, obwohl der Check-out bereits um 11:00 Uhr erfolgt war. Dies ist organisatorisch nicht nachvollziehbar.

Die Zimmerhygiene war insgesamt ungenügend. Das Zimmer war sichtbar nicht sauber, der Teppich alt, stark verschmutzt und unhygienisch (siehe Bilder). Der Zustand entsprach in keiner Weise dem Standard eines 4-Sterne-Hotels.

Zudem fehlten grundlegende Ausstattungsmerkmale, die man in dieser Hotelkategorie erwarten darf. Auch die Zimmereinrichtung wirkte uneinheitlich und wenig gepflegt.

Das Frühstückserlebnis war ebenfalls enttäuschend. Pro Person wurde lediglich ein Teller zur Verfügung gestellt. Trotz Nachfrage erhielten wir keinen zweiten Teller, sodass sämtliche Speisen (Brot, Käse, Fleisch, Kuchen) auf demselben Teller platziert werden mussten. Zusätzlich wurden ausschließlich Papierservietten angeboten – für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel nicht akzeptabel.

Das Hotel war toll und hatte sogar ein Pub im Keller.

Das Bad befand sich im Zimmer hinter einer Schiebetüre und hatte dadurch etwas wenig Privatsphäre.
