jederzeit gerne wieder
Pros:

Ausgangspunkt ideal für Wanderungen, aber auch zum Entspannen; direkt am Sherlock-Holmes-Museum gelegen. Personal sehr freundlich, super Frühstücksbuffet, kann ich nur empfehlen!

Relaxing stay in a hiking area
Pros:

I liked the closeness of everything. The staff was helpful and the view from our windows was more than amazing! The room was spacious and looked classy as well as the entire hotel. We loved that at breakfast one had only one plate so that the food waste was minimized. Tasty food. The adjacent steakhouse was also great, with friendly waiters. Spacious parking lot and quiet neighborhood.

Cons:

It was a little too warm in our room during the night and the upper windows couldn't be opened. The body wash wasn't fully refilled upon checking in. The bed could have been more confier but these are nuisances, everything else was superb.

Impeccable en tout point, un magnifique bâtiment, Meiringen un magnifique endroit
Pros:

l accueil, le personnel, la décoration, le calme, le petit déjeuner, la chambre, les équipements
et dormir dans l'hotel ou Sherlock Holmes à dormi, c'est la classe. ;-)

A lovely surprise awaited us when we arrived. The staff was very friendly!

Very convenient for skiing but condition if the hotel is a bit old and worn.
Pros:

Easy walking distance to the gondola to go skiing. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

The condition and decoration of the room was a lot older and more "used" than I expected. The bathroom was from the 1970's or 80's.

DOIT faire mieux en matière d'accueil.
Pros:

Le cadre, le parc, grande chambre.

Cons:

Manque d'éclairage, tant dans la chambre que dans la salle de bain.
Mais surtout, l'hôtel était réservé par un groupe de hollandais chrétiens. Je n'ai naturellement rien, ni contre les hollandais, ni contre les croyants. Mais tout l'hôtel leur a été dédié, et les autres touristes ont été relégués au second plan. Notamment, impossible de souper sur place (sauf des fish and chips au pub.... super).
De plus, les tourist cards nous ont été envoyées tardivement, si bien que l'on n'a pas pu les utiliser.
Donc très mauvais accueil.

Pros:

Sehr nett empfangen und uns wurde alle wichtige Infos mitgeteilt und sogar ein Ubgrade in eine Suite gegeben. An der Bar konnte man sich Spiele holen und ein Apero nehmen mit einem Glas Wein was der Abend perfekt machte. Morgens konnte man bei einem wunderschönen Saal das Frühstück geniessen, es war wirklich ein traumhafter Aufenthalt und wir würden gleich wieder buchen sobald wir wieder eins nach Meiringen kommen :) Bis bald

Nettes Personal, tolles Frühstück und tolle saubere Zimmer

Cons:

kurzes Kabel für den Wasserkocher und keine Steckdosen beim Bett um das Handy zu laden. ist aber Kritick auf sehr hohen Niveau🤗 Der Aufendhalt war toll
