Sehr freundliches Personal, aber unfähiges Management.
Schönes, geschmackvolles Gebäude, ruhige Lage.

Cons:

Das Hotel hat nur offene Allgemeinbereiche, also Restaurant und Bar sind draußen - wunderbar bei schönem Wetter, aber katastrophal bei Unwetter und Kälte. So war es Anfang Oktober 2025. Bei teilweise nur 13 Grad haben wir jämmerlich gefroren. Das Hotel ist in keiner Weise auf solche Situationen eingerichtet: Keine Heizstrahler (nur Feuersäulen zur Deko, die wärmen nicht), nicht einmal warme Decken für die Stühle. Auflagen und Kissen regnen nass und sind tagelang nicht zu nutzen. Kurz: Null Reaktion des Managements auf das Wetter. Bei dieser Preisklasse skandalös. Wir sind abgereist.
Davon abgesehen: Das Essen ist banal und langweilig, keine Tageskarte, immer dasselbe.

Cons:

Einzig die Preise vor Ort (Massagen, Essen, welches nicht inklusive war usw.) waren sehr teuer. Die Massagen kosteten mehr als in der Schweiz.

Good but go back to your roots being a luxury Massaria, not a Holiday Inn Massaria.
Pros:

It was better before Baglioni bought it. The breakfast went down hill after. The pool is in bad shape and needs to be resurfaced.

A really beautiful rustic hotel. The decor was lovely and food very good.

Pros:

The hotel is in a quiet location overlooking the lake. The rooms are spacious and very clean. But the highlight is the staff. From the super friendly and competent ladies and gentlemen at reception to the warm ladies serving breakfast, everyone at this hotel is friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Cons:

As everywhere in Italy, some renovation work is needed, so it would be good if various minor issues were addressed.

Good hotel but does not merit a 5 star rating. 3 star would be more appropriate

Wonderful staff, welcoming, efficient, helpful and charming. Reasonable rooms- good bathrooms showers etc. The spa was okay. Breakfast was okay. Well maintained, planted terrace walkways between rooms

Cons:

No indoor facilities- lounge-dining-bar. No seating in bedrooms. Rated too high and too expensive for what was on offer. Dining area was a terrace with roof cover - probably lovely in hot summer very cold and windy on a wet day in early October
