It worked for one night.
Pros:

It was right on Route 66.

Cons:

It was old, dated, in somewhat poor condition, and it had a bad smell.

Cons:

I didn't like a darn thing about staying there the one night at that hotel. The rooms were dirty, a matter of fact. My room had mold growing in it. And when I said something to the manager, they said they was going to clean it, they never did. I was told to stop complaining about things because they put me in a room where the air conditioner worked and it didn't allow my dogs. The first room, they put me and the air-conditioned didn't even work, and so then they made me a room downstairs. I had to leave my dogs there for just a little bit. And when I came back, I had a message on my door for me to get out. So I didn't even get to say my full term that I was paid for. I would never recommend any of my friends to stay at that place ever.

Location and price were good.
Pros:

The price per night ws low -- you get what you pay for. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Cons:

Massive amounts of electrical cords - air conditional unplugged -- microwave unplugged -- no coffee service in the room. Kill one German cockroach crawling up the bathroom wall.

Highly Recommend!
Pros:

I love the Baxter Inn......Always accommodating and the staff there are great. All the way from the grounds keeper to the owners they are polite, respectful and make you feel like your at home. Highly recommend!
