Pros:

Location was good for what we were in Omaha for. Staff was friendly

Cons:

Not a fan of the bathroom- there is a curtain covering the bathroom/shower area and then a sliding door to keep the toilet area more private-but you can hear all the bodily functions going on in the toilet area throughout the room. Also the parking lot felt too small. The hotel must have been full- we had to park in the back of the lot and the only entrance is in the front. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel because there are so many great places in Omaha to get breakfast. The pool areas seemed a bit small, but maybe it was fine. We didn’t use it. In the lobby there’s a pool table which seemed kind of neat and a decent area to hang out. The location is pretty decent. Overall, it was OK, but probably would not stay again.

Pros:

I’ve had such a great experience at the Aloft Omaha Aksarben Village. This property is perfect for our family since it’s right next to my daughter’s apartment, which makes visits incredibly easy and convenient.

What truly sets this hotel apart is the customer service. Laura at the front desk is absolutely amazing—I genuinely love walking in and seeing her there. She goes out of her way to make this feel like my home away from home.

I often work out of the hotel, and Laura is always so accommodating and attentive to anything I need. It makes all the difference.

Do yourself a favor. Choose something else.
Cons:

Concept and room not great. Pillows and cases smelled dirty and not cleaned. Room situated so AC blew on bed all night. Furniture was stiff and uncomfortable. Hallways and motif was industrial (fine) but dark and stark with frankly stupid accents. No mirror over sink - only a full length mirror away from vanity so its impossible to get ready and see yourself shaving, for my wife to do her hair and makeup since there is no outlet near the only mirror for curling irons, etc. If form follows function, this is a huge fail. It was not a good experience, even for just a sleep stay. Will not select again.

Pros:

Great location. Spacious and clean rooms. Staff was kind and accommodating.

Cons:

Wifi and TV signal was spotty, constantly going out and rebooting. Was not informed how housekeeping works. They only come into the rooms once every other day for a "refresh" which includes giving more towels and nothing else. Unless you request a day in advance for a clean. Not to my liking and I like my sheets changed during my stay.

Wouldn't stay again
Pros:

The location was perfect for our needs

Cons:

Unfortunately this hotel was a letdown. It wasn't as clean as it should be, it was really loud, the mattress needed to be replaced, and the staff weren't very friendly. The toiletries and the lobby were all very strongly scented to the point of being headache inducing. It was probably better when it was newer but as it is I would not stay here again or recommend.

It will be my recommendation for any associates going to Omaha.
Pros:

The location is perfect. Scooters across the street and Jimi D's (get the rustic ragu) 100ft from the front door.

Cons:

Had a room key problem, but the staff at the front desk made sure it was resolved.

Pros:

The person at the front desk moved our room so it was more accessible from the elevator. That was greatly appreciated. Aloft has a very modern feel to it. We were able to park near the front door and there are several places to eat within walking distance.

We had to wait an hour and half to get into our room. Once we were told it was ready, it was a room with one bed when we booked a two bed room.
