Four star… I would give this hotel two stars maximum after our one week stay in Bali.

First of all, we booked this hotel under the impression that it was located in Sanur. We shortly found out this wasn’t the case. It was right next to an extremely busy duel carriage way road. This effected our sleep as the windows don’t seal out the noise.

The rooms were very old and run down. With black mould in the bathrooms, aircon leaking, doors which didn’t close, extremely hard and uncomfortable beds.

Breakfast was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING… All of the reviews we saw prior to booking our stay said that breakfast was pretty good. We soon found out that there was a very limited range of food, pancakes were rubbery, coffee was extremely cold (even when we arrived for breakfast first thing in the morning). When they offered to make us fresh coffee, there were coffee grounds floating in the coffee…
There is literally nothing good to say about their breakfast…

The pool looks nice but was extremely cold so not worth going in. Being on the roof, subjected to a lot of wind.

All this lead to us checking out early and paying again to stay in a different four star hotel which was amazing as expected.

The staff were nice. We submitted a formal complaint to their management. All they offered in compensation was entry into the theme park which was no help as we’d already left Bali or an upgrade for future stays. OBVIOUSLY we won’t be going back…

They should be spending money upgrading the interior rather than the fake facade of the front of their hotel.

Wish I could stay there longer.
Pros:

Super friendly staff, they even run after me as u have forgotten some of my laundry there.

Cons:

The pool being closed during nighttime but I understand why they do it but this was the only negative I could find.

Needed to be near the consulate. Other than that, spend the money for a more polished hotel.
Pros:

The location was great. It was right next to the Indian Consulate, which is what I needed to get a Visa on a priority.

Cons:

1. The WiFi did not work. You could connect to the WiFi, but it had no connection to the internet most of the time.
2. The floors were not clean. There were gum wrappers on the floor. There were ants on the desk. There was dust in the corners and under the curtains.
3. The bathroom water was sticky. Left me stickier than when I went into shower.

Der name 4 Star passt sehr gut.
Pros:

Sehr freundlich, gutes Frühstück, sauber, Essen bestellen aufs Zimmer möglich, Pool (klein) auf Etage 6.
Vorort verlängern war auch kein Problem.

Cons:

Das Frühstück ist zwar gut, aber könnte mehr Auswahl für Europäer haben. Es gibt Toastbrot und Croissants aber nur 3 sehr süße Marmeladen. Es könnte Nutella oder Käse angeboten werden.

The room had an unpleasant odor, and the bathroom cleanliness was really subpar—the water flow was very weak. The air conditioning was also awful, making a loud noise, probably because the facilities are really old. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations at all.
