I have many food restrictions and am on an anti-inflammatory diet. The chefs were very accomodating and understanding to take up my requests for specific meals. It was a pleasure not to have to worry about what's in my meals.
My flight was very early and I could not have a proper breakfast. I did have a great pack to go but it would have been nice to have more options of freshly made breakfast options.

The Leela Palace Chennai delivers a sense of luxury from the very moment you step inside. What struck me first was the hotel’s incredible signature fragrance — a beautiful, fresh floral aroma that instantly creates a feeling of calm. Every time we entered the lobby, that scent somehow made the experience feel special all over again. It is one of those small details that stays in your memory long after the stay.
Our arrival was equally lovely, with a warm welcome accompanied by a beautiful garland and a refreshing soda-based welcome drink.
The room was spacious, elegant and extremely comfortable. The beds were wonderful, the bathroom and hot water facilities were excellent, and everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. Room service was prompt and attentive throughout our stay, while the in-room dining was also very enjoyable.
Breakfast offered a good selection, particularly the Indian choices. One area that could elevate the experience further would be a wider variety of Asian breakfast options alongside the traditional Indian spread, especially considering the international clientele of a luxury property such as The Leela.
Overall, The Leela Palace Chennai is an excellent choice for those looking for luxury, comfort and attentive hospitality in Chennai. From the beautiful interiors to the service, everything carries a sense of understated elegance.

11th floor lounge - exceptional experience with the bubbly and most welcoming Sani who made everyone comfortable and feel welcomed. Sani and her team are really excellent at the service they provide - and the attention they pay to details is truly amazing. Never intrusive and an excellent professional service delivered in a friendly and warm atmosphere. A mention too for Ariful, the butler, who knowledge of the hotel and its art collection is amazing. Very friendly and took time and patience to explain the origins and meaning of so many beautiful pieces of work in the hotel. Overall, everyone in the hotel made you feel welcome. Thank you for this royal welcome and service.

Expérience incroyable au Leela Palace Chennai. Le personnel est excellent, avec une mention particulière à Sneha pour son accueil et son service. L’hôtel est très agréable, les équipements sont de grande qualité, notamment la piscine, magnifique et gérée par une équipe très aimable. Tout le séjour s’est parfaitement déroulé. Petit plus : nous avons même croisé des stars de Kollywood/Tollywood. Nous recommandons vivement.
Personnel aux petits soins, chambre confortable, belle salle de bain, buffet très varié. Proximité avec l'aéroport.
