The perfect finale to a three-week family trip through Tamil Nadu and Kerala. After homestays, houseboats, and long mountain drives, The Leela Palace gave us exactly the elegant, relaxing close we were hoping for.
Special mention to our butler, Charan Sood, whose attentiveness and warmth made every part of our stay easier and more special — and to Chandra and Kumar at the pool, who looked after our family of four with genuine care throughout our time there. Breakfast was outstanding, the pool was beautiful, and the evening fire show was a lovely touch. Service across the board was excellent, but it was these three in particular who made our stay memorable. Highly recommend, and we'd return in a heartbeat.

It was a truly wonderful and memorable stay at The Leela Palace Chennai. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the entire team. The fresh flower arrangements throughout the hotel and the beautiful fragrance in the room created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The evening live music performance by the waterfront was simply magical—it felt serene, almost like being in a heavenly temple. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. As we were travelling with our 2.5-year-old son, having a spacious suite made us feel completely at home. A special thanks to Aditya at the front desk, who patiently explained all the available room options and helped us choose the most comfortable suite for our family.
Our biggest appreciation goes to our butler, Suva, who truly made our stay exceptional. He was always available whenever we needed anything and ensured that every request was attended to immediately. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect and that we were enjoying our time at the hotel. One of the highlights of our stay was the palace tour he personally gave us. He took the time to explain the history, architecture, and unique features of the property with great patience and enthusiasm, making the experience even more special. His genuine care, warm hospitality, and attention to every little detail made us feel truly valued as guests.
We would also like to thank Manisha and Sonali from the restaurant, who were incredibly thoughtful and caring, especially when it came to preparing food for our little one. Their kindness and attention made every meal a pleasant experience.
A big thank you as well to the housekeeping team, Lucky and Narasimha, who kept our room spotless and always serviced it promptly and efficiently. We also appreciate Siva from the minibar, who made sure our snacks and refreshments were always replenished.
Everything good. Overall, our stay was made truly memorable by the outstanding hospitality of the entire team. It is the people who make The Leela Palace Chennai so special.
