Not at the hotel which was a drawback.
As above
The waterfalls was beautiful and it was lovely to sit and just be there in the evenings relaxing and listening to the sounds.
This is a restaurant review. Did not stay at the hotel. The food was simply bad. I ordered the lemon chicken with artichoke and white wine-shocked to see what it looked liked when it was served-all cut up, dry and it really looked like it had already been cooked hours before and they dropped it into a very mediocre sauce before serving. The appetizers were ok, nothing special and the gnocchi was marginally better than the chicken. The wine list was bad-I think they think their target audience are a bunch of yahoos with no discernible taste in food or wine. Too bad because as a local I thought the experience would have been much better.
The ledges is such a beautiful property!! Barb and everyone at the front were extremely friendly and made sure our stay was perfect!! Our one bedroom suite was the perfect room with a view of the waterfall. Glass had yummy food and cocktails. Cheyenne and her team provided the best dining experience. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a serene getaway. We will be back .
We loved the view of the waterfall. We also loved the shuttle driver Michelle. She made our trip.
We did not like the room size for the cost, and the restaurant service was horrible
The waterfall was beautiful. And everything was updated for an 1800s building. I love the different level levels of leisure to take in the peacefulness of the waterfall. The hotel was tucked away/a bit hidden. They offered us a free cocktail and a credit towards breakfast.
I wouldn’t necessarily say a dislike. The room was very small, but the building was very old so that’s understandable. The driveway was a bit harrowing for a person who’s used to flatland 😁
So much to like about Ledges! A hotel in a repurposed factory, perched in the edge of a waterfall. A variety of outdoor sitting spaces to enjoy the view and sound of the falls. In spring/ early summer the falls was lovely, but I am thinking the falls maybe minimal in later summer and fall. The staff I encountered were helpful and kind. If you get their waterfall package, make sure to clarify the food credits you get with it. I was left so confused about what came with the room and what was included with the waterfall package. The fireplace and comfortable seating in the lobby is inviting. The downside of my room: no mini fridge, the window did not open so I could hear the sound of the falls at night or from my room. I like fresh air at night! Also, platform beds are not my favorite; mattress ok, but the lower bed height can be challenging for older knees. Also not a fan of rainshower shower heads, especially when the water falls straight down from the ceiling and the faucet control is not accessible without standing under the shower head— brrr until the water warms up.
The property was in a beautiful location our room was right next to the waterfall unfortunately there was a table next to our window where guest could set , so it wasn’t really private and we could not keep our curtains open to enjoy the view until the restaurant closed.
As previously mentioned the place was beautiful but our room was located next to a public seating area
Beautiful location, and very nice hotel interior.
My only complaint would be the quality of the mattress. For the price they should offer better mattress.
Price was too high for the facility. It showed great in pictures but not in person.
Waterfalls
Room was very basic with uncomfortable bed. Definitely thought it was overpriced
The scenery of the hotel was beautiful. It was located right on waterfalls and there are great places on the property to take pictures. It's a very relaxing and scenic hotel. They had outdoor seating too which was great! They had a neat service on the tv where it would give you ideas sort of like concierge at your fingertips. There was a little mini fridge in the room which was nice. The hotel also had free coffee and tea in the lobby.
I did not like the pillows in the hotel. They were very uncomfortable. There was some loud noises at night which woke me up. It was a little pricey for the location.
