We had an overnight stop in Johannesburg and this hotel was perfect

Fantastic ..... definitely my choice going forward when I travel to OR Tambo

So well appointed . From big fluffy bath towels and robes to a comfy king size bed .... Great breakfast ..... and conveniently situated

Gorgeous hotel with super staff
Pros:

Superb staff - friendly, courteous, responsive and helpful. The room was large and impeccably kept and the location is great not just for airport but for shops, restaurants and bars (note that the hotel's restaurant is excellent and could be a destination in its own right).

Cons:

My only very minor complaint is the 7 am start for breakfast. Since many, many flights leave in the morning, it would be nice if either breakfast opened earlier or the hotel could prepare a simple takeaway continental bfast with yogurt, bread, fruit etc.

Very comfortable beds with friendly staff close to the airport. Highly recommend!

We were on the end and would have liked to have been in the garden area.

Need a shower shelf to put shampoo on—we had to use the sink area.

The most perfect small, intimate hotel with outstanding service and facilities in an ideal location.
Pros:

We could not have been more satisfied with our stay. The staff went out of their way to meet all our needs, and indeed exceeded in doing so, and let us stay and make use of all the facilities having booked out, as our flights home were not until the evening. The rooms were extremely comfortable, and the meals delicious. The location was also perfect, being in a quiet, secure residential area just 15 minutes from the airport. I would recommend the Giglio unreservedly.
