The fan in the room makes a LOT of noise

Lot of loud music playing at night time

The cleaners make a lot noise in the morning and then they leave their cleaning stations infront of doors making it hard to manoeuvre with a buggy

Barcelona ist eine tolle Stadt, das Hotel Paxton sehr schön, aber das Zimmer 401 ist den Preis für Deluxe nicht wert.
Pros:

Das Hotel ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Besonders Bar und Lobby haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Toller Pool und Liegen! Auch die Lage des Hotels ist super, keine 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bogatell, wo zahlreiche Strandbars sowie Restaurants zu finden sind. Die U-Bahnstation ist ca. 5 Minuten fußläufig entfernt.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich!

Cons:

Was uns sehr geärgert hat, war dass wir ein Deluxe Zimmer gebucht hatten, wegen der Größe und Privatsphäre, das Zimmer, das wir bekommen haben (401, direkt neben dem Lift im 5.Stock) hat aber überhaupt nicht den Fotos, die hier bei der Buchung gezeigt wurden, nicht entsprochen. Dort wo das Bad sein sollte, war der Aufzugschacht. Das Badezimmer war direkt neben dem Bett, keine Tür zum Bad, offene Dusche, Milchglastüre zum WC. Ich war mit meiner Tochter in diesem Zimmer, wir fanden die Situation mit dem Bad unangenehm. Man hat schon öfter gehört, dass man Gast 2. Klasse ist, wenn man über Booking kommt, vielleicht haben wir deshalb dieses Zimmer zugeteilt bekommen.
