Fantastic stay
Pros:

Everything was fantastic. Staff were lovely. Location is spot on. The room was clean, bed was comfy and even provided a fan.

Budget hotel close to the pier.
Pros:

Close to the Grand Pier where we were attending an event.

Great staff
Pros:

The staff, food and location could not be bettered. Staff went out of their way to be pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

The hotel is dated and, unfortunately, during the heatwave our room was very stuffy, obviously the hotel could not be blamed for the weather.

My sister uses a walker and there was some confusion, initially, about the use of the chair lift. On reflection having better access to the hotel would have suited us better.

Dident have breakfast room was lovley with seaview it was up graded when we got there .lovley surprise .meals we did have there very good.staff was nice and helpful

Cons:

Air con in the rooms we were lucky we had the sea breeze . Some sort of enatainment at night would get more people in.and put special offers on

Reception not open when needed.
Room was full of damp! The smell was disgusting, with a jug and towel on the floor to catch the leak (we was NOT told about this when checking in)!
Shower head holder broke so when I got in it fell and smacked me on the head.
Blinds were broke in parts which let a lot of light in.
No option for late check out, when I rang reception to ask, I was told no and phone hung up.

Overnight stay .
Pros:

Close to seafront and reasonable price

Cons:

Very dated , room was bit tired and we were next to the lift which was very noisy until about 1.30 in the morning when most people were in bed . Our room smelt smoky and there was a cigarette down the toilet . We only stayed overnight if we had stayed longer would have asked to be moved due to lift .

It was to hot in the room,could only open windows about 2 inches,ceiling light didn't stay on overlooking back yard were empty beer barrels were put and got very noisy loud talking and shouting blinds at windows were not working properly,

Initial welcome by staff good, location ideal & guess the price of the room for what it was due to seafront location

Not able to open all windows so stuffy & warm paper note in window saying please don’t open however this room was an upgrade from our original booking so just a ? If our original reservation would have had windows not able to open too!
