Excellent restaurant and very high quality food

Cons:

Next to a temple where they have installed loudspeakers and it goes on in both the morning and till 11pm
Mosquitoes in room , shower issue, hair dryer faulty , no conditioner and body lotions in the dispenser

There was no cleaning, for a couple/double booking, only 1 towel was given, the quality of which was questionable. Checked in on Saturday at 2 pm and till 4 pm the next day, no one came for housekeeping. The bed linen is also not fresh on the day we checked in. The cupboards are chipping on some corners. Nothing to really appreciate. Would not come again. Breakfast service was slow and no cutlery given at the table.

Very Poor , bordering on atrocious.
Pros:

Breakfast was OK , The view =from the room was nothing short of disgusting, there is a park just below the room window - full of garbage and refuse. Absolutely disgusting

I have stayed and many a Fern , but this was the worst stay ever. In Kolhapur my previous stays with Sayaji has been wondeful . This time as i could not get the room so i tried the Fern . I would definitely not recommend a stay here . There was a leak from the ceiling above the Wash basin in 702 with water falling on the head . In the Wash Area , There was NO Soap Dispenser , The Shampoo dispenser was empty with some fluid in the ZConditioner Diepenser . I cant imagine I am paid 7k+ for such a lousy arrangement . The room is supposed to be ready for check in by 1200 , i had informed my arrival would be by 1600-1700 . still if you cannot get a room ready then it is absolutely criminal negligence and denial of service and hospitality . I informed the Reception desk too . If for basics one needs to call House Keeping might as well stop renting the rooms . I apologise for my harsh language but your Hotel loeft me with no option .
