OYO Hotel Chesaning Route 52 & Hwy 57

Absolutely disgusting establishment!!!
I wish I would've read the reviews 1st, but there was a snowstorm and no other hotels in the area. From the minute you walk in, you feel dirty. It smells like stale cigarettes and mold. There was trash under the bed, a huge stain on one of the bed that appeared to be blood, stains on the chairs. The bathtub and curtain were orange with soap scum. Deplorable to say the least.
Not only is this place disgusting, but the owner us a con artist. I booked online for one price. Once I got there he gave me some story about not being able to access his system. So he said he couldn't honor the price that I booked it for and charged me more. I also noticed that he charged me for my 8 year old. He asked how old he was, then put 2 adults. I'm guessing this was too very more money out of me 🤦‍♀️
After reading reviews it seems the owner did this to everyone.
This place should be condemned

The owner was nice enough to know I was in a walker and sometimes wheelchair, so he put us in the closest room to the exit and parking was right there. He also provided a chair for the shower for me. He was very helpful and kind. We will go back, for sure!

It is a no frills , old , in the middle of nowhere. A little overpriced for what was offered

Decent place for the money

This was terrible from the moment we walked up...Owners/managers not sure, were parked right up to the door so we barely had room to walk by. Owner started out nice. But that changed quickly. Weird smell in the lobby. He walked us to our room, odd. After we unloaded i was walking back out to my car and the owner followed me to my car. Claiming he forgot to charge me for my kids, all info was included in the booking, so I need to pay him more money. I was on my way to the store, so he demanded i pay him when I get back. Called my husband.
Once we got back from dinner we really started to look around, absolutely disgusting. Stains on both beds. Inside the drawers is all stained and gross. Every single one. Sooo much dust. Border falling off the walls, that collected a lot of dust and other things. Register is falling apart. Chair felt like it was going to fall apart. Rack on the wall almost fell off, barely screwed into the wall. Huge smudge marks on the mirror. Tub was an absolute not. Had to flush toilet twice no matter what. Mini fridge had a carton of ice cream left in it, melted everywhere. And it was unplugged. We laid our own blankets out. Never untucked the bed or anything. Used our own pillows.
Next day we walk out to load up the car (a little after 9 ) here comes the owner asking if we are all set. We tell him we are loading up. So won't be long. Check out isnt until 11. On our final trip out, after loading the car we turn around to go turn In the key and there the owner is again just staring at us. We walk in and he instant asked for more money. I told him I read the entire website and it did not say anywhere an extra charge. I then asked him to show me. I then told him all of the disgusting findings in our room. Gladly showed them to him and suddenly he didnt want anymore money. Everything about this stay was wrong. Save your money

I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had.
The hotel itself was in a deplorable state. The hallways were dark and dingy, and my room was no better. It was dirty, with stains on the carpet and dust everywhere. The furniture was old and falling apart, making the whole place feel neglected and uninviting.
To make matters worse, whatever price I booked on line it was, it was the incorrect rate that was charged from my credit card. The person at the desk named “Yogi” is a deceiver and a con artist. He wants his costumers to call him next time if you ever book again so he can charge them more than price of what is stated on the OYO website.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Save your money and find a place that values cleanliness and customer service. This hotel clearly does not.

We tried to check in early and they told us there was a fee, but couldn't tell us how much it would be. Ok spot if you need to be in this area like we did for a wedding. If not, I would move along to an area with better hotels.

After a poor stay at a chain motel, I needed a clean place to stay while in the area for a wedding . I needed a clean safe place for my wife & me. This motel served that purpose.

It was the only choice, but still pretty good, especially for the price. It was convenient for my weekend plans with family.
It is a bit run down in the public spaces, but the room was huge and comfortable.

When you call, it's very hard to understand the owner. The mattress needs to be replaced. The chalking around the tub needs to be redone. There was no breakfast or fruit. Asked to use the ironing board and the cover has holes in it. Only reason we stayed there, was it was near the wedding.

This hotel was extremely dirty and smelled like smoke even tho it was non-smoking. There were stains and cigarette burns in the bedding. Will never stay there again.

The property needs updated and cleaned. We stay here often due to location proximity of family. Every time I stay, the property gets a little worse.

Very dirty, sheets stained , mirrors filthy. But limited places to stay close to our destination.

Overall the hotel was nice. The owner is a great and friendly guy. Always helpful.
