Es war Super.
Pros:

Das Frühstück war einfach, aber ausreichend. Ausgezeichnet waren die warmen Mahlzeiten. Die ganze Atmosphäre konnte und wollte nicht die griechisches Wurzeln der Hotelbetreiber verleugnen. Also herzlich und sehr familiär. Und diese Herkunft spürt man auch bei den Mahlzeiten, die sich durchaus mit dem ortsüblichen Eichbaumbier vertrugen.
Man sollte sich nicht von der Stadtrandlage des Hotels abschrecken lassen. Es liegt 5 Minuten von der Straßenbahn ab. Diese führt z.B.eine Linie (5) über Weinheim, Heidelberg und wieder nach Mannheim als großer Bahnring über viele Ortschaften. Das Straßenbahnnetz ist ausgezeichnet. Mit einer Tageskarte kann man beqem in andere Linien umsteigen und sich vielfältige Touren zusammenstellen.

Cons:

Tud mit leid, wir müssen mit einer deutschen Tradition brechen und können nicht meckern.
Unverhofft erlebten wir einen griechischen Kurzurlaub im Hotel Alexandros.
(Natürlich hat das herrliche Wetter das Erlebnis befördert.)
