Pros:

The room exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was very good and made to order, it wasn't to many options, but it was still good. the only thing that caught me off guard was the parking, which was $15 a day that I didn't know until day of arrival, but was still cheaper than the $2 hrs. Elements will definitely be my go-to hotel when I'm in Iowa visiting my son.

We arrived late, but were still greeted by an employee and checked in quickly.

It was very disappointing!

The potential amenities and location.

Cons:

The available parking located at the hotel was full when we checked in at 5 pm. The outdoor space was used for a private party and wasn’t available to other guests. I booked this hotel based on the amenities and they were not available.

Hotel was welcoming, clean and bright. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Pros:

Was just an overnight stay for a performance of a family member at the college. Space to meet with family and talk before we went to dinner and your breakfast was amazing the cook made crispy tostada and the staff was polite. Loved the kitchen in the room.

Cons:

In the shower the body wash was empty.

Good choice for downtown Iowa City, walking distance to PedMall
Pros:

Good breakfast, made to order, friendly chef. Good evening drinks and snacks. Nice common area to work on a laptop or watch TV. Good choice for a long term guest on business.

Cons:

not much room to store clothes for someone trying to stay long term. The location of the parking lot and the key to get back in the building didn't work, it was hard to figure out where to go even after the desk attendant explained where the door was.
