A rare, great value private accomodation
Pros:

A rare, affordable and great value accommodation with a fusion of simple western comforts and modern Philippine style mixed with locally sourced materials with a quaint outdoor space shaded by tropical plants and trees,

Myrna's pension house provides a safe, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms including a kitchen counter and sink plus a dining area in the room and also outside the unit.

For those working remotely, Wifi is strong and steady and the solid wood dining table acts also as a desk with 2 comfortable dining chairs.

Bathroom is spacious and clean with strong water pressure with the exception of the shower. However pail and dipper are provided and useful if prefer warm or hot water, to add boiled hot water from electric kettle since there is no hot water.

Built with solid materials such as thick concrete walls and steel roofing, that I hardly heard my neighbors and the room stays cool, whenever I return having switched off the a/c before I leave. However, mostly appreciate peace of mind during heavy winds and rains.

It's situated near schools and churches and conveniently 2 to 3 blocks from nearby beaches, main restaurants, and Santa Fe Market. If required, a trike or pedi trike is easy to get beside main road and only 20P per person/40 if solo.

If coming back from nearby beaches or island hopping tours, an outdoor shower to rinse off is available on the left side (facing stalls) of the 2 outdoor bathroom stalls.

There's even bbq facilities.
