For the record, this is the only one star review we’ve ever written for a hotel. The pictures and the high price are completely misleading. This is a budget hotel. For instance, we were appointed to a different room than our booking. Everything, without exception, was old and/or dirty and/or broken. Hair in the shower, curtains that kept falling of the wall, stained and worn-out sheets and towels, a broken safe, and a set of dirty veils hanging directly above the bed that are covered with dust. The life jackets were moldy. Our worst experience was the ‘restaurant’. The woman working there was beyond impolite. The expensive meal we ordered looked like something cooked on a budget airline. Half a fish filet, five (!) frozen supermarket fries, and some packaged salad. I never knew you could feel offended by a meal. There are unfortunately very few food alternatives close to the hotel. After asking to be given our booked room and raising some of these concerns, the receptionist(s) told us that the bed in this room was bigger, so that, in other words, we shouldn’t complain. The receptionist referred to our complaints as (I quote) ‘details’. (Funnily enough, their disregard for such ‘details’ is also illustrated by the many COVID-19 signs still placed around the property, which they have had years to remove!). Bacalar is beautiful, so don’t ruin your time here by choosing this overpriced flophouse.

There was a power outage and we were without AC for 3 hours

Rien, tout était parfait !

las comida y las bebidas muy ricas pero super tardado para la elaboración. el desayuno lo anuncian a una hora y no tenían los insumos listos para prepararlos.

Se metio un tlacoache a mi habitacion pero es entendible por la ubicacion, tienen unas lamparas de adorno sin focos, mejor quitarlas, arreglar el mosquitero

En comparación de hace 3 años que fui sigue el mismo equipo para actividades acuáticas y ya estan dañados algunos sería bueno renovarlos ya que este plus es el que me animo a reservar de nuevo con ellos.

Needs more parking

Les marches pour descendre au lagon sont très glissantes, c’est très dangereux. Le petit déjeuner est sympa mais on n’a pas eu de beurre pour les tartines le 2ème jour, la chambre est vieillissante, les équipements vieillots, la pression de la douche est très faible… bref tout pourrait passer si le prix n’était pas si élevé.

El único detalle q no me gustó, es q a una escalera para bajar a la laguna le hace falta un escalón .

L’hôtel est un peu loin du centre la voiture est donc nécessaire
Le personnel dans l’hôtel n’est pas d’un grand dynamisme si on peut dire. À l’accueil pas de problème par contre

- la chambre était petite pour 2 + 2 valises
- Le bruit de la route était un peu bruyant dans notre bungalow. Certainement l’emplacement qui était plus proche de la route. Mais avec des bouchons d’oreille, pas de problème.
