NEST Iriomote

This place is awesome. Clean stylish and well located walking distance to restaurants. Not a young kids vibe, more like a getaway place. Breakfast is a surcharge but tasty and the coffee is choice! The host also runs a kayak business if you want to book an outdoor adventure. I went scuba instead with a great company called Smile Scuba. Recommend them also. The host is really nice and will start up the sauna for after a winter dive! I rarely give 10 stars but this one gets my vote.

Super clean and tidy room with a nice patio overlooking the pool. Friendly dog came to say hello every day. The owner made us dinner bookings each night at a local restaurant (all walking distance) and they were all excellent!

Le nid porte bien son nom. Tout est parfait ici pour un grand moment de détente : un accueil chaleureux, de grandes et très belles chambres, très bien équipées donnant directement sur la piscine. Un petit déjeuner savoureux...

Zimmer, Host, Pool

　とても清潔で快適でした。インテリアなどもひとつひとつ洗練されていて、庭の木々や家具の配置なども素敵でまるで海外のリゾートにきているようでした。プールもとても清潔です。
　
　朝食もカフェのようなお洒落で美味しかったです。

　わんちゃんが可愛くいやされました。

　プールで使う浮き輪が破れていたのもすぐに気づいて修繕していただけました。

Everything was fantastic. Even took us to the supermarket by car and back to the Uehara port.
The sauna and jacuzzi were also top. Rooms are very modern and very comfortable, especially with the weather on Iriomoete (even if it rains).
Also there are only 3 rooms which makes it a very private stay.

And: really really large beds. I mean really.

We stayed at the Nest for 3 nights and we wish we stayed longer. From the moment we stepped in we felt like part of the family! Everyone was welcoming, friendly and attentive! Nao the owner is amazing! We took the ferry to reach the island. Once there we quickly realised that there weren't any taxis, I called the Nest to ask for an alternative way of reaching the hotel, but instead he told us to wait there and that he would pick us up... AMAZING!!!! He recommended us places to eat and beaches to visit.... The hotel itself was simply amazing! Room was big. Attention to detail was top notch! We definitely would go back, this island is a great way to unwind and relax, it has natural beauty and peaceful and quiet, not for the noisy kind 😂.

Very quiet off season. Loved the spacious room and shared areas. And loved the hot tub! The owner was so helpful and took great care of us.

Staff is very friendly, recommended some good restaurants and helped us booked the dinner. Room is very spacious and clean, bathroom is amazing with big bath tub.

This was the best stay we had during our 4-week-trip around Japan! NEST Iriomote is amazing! The room was really nice, modern and clean, there were a great pool, sauna tent and hot tub and the host was very welcoming and friendly. We also loved the breakfast (which usually is not as good in Japan as to our experiences…) and we were able to book an amazing tour to the waterfall via NEST Iriomote as well! Recommend 100% without hesitation! Would have loved to stay more than the 2 nights we had booked! So many thanks!

Amazing breakfast, fresh and tasty.

Great, modern rooms, plenty of space. Breakfast really good and freshly made every morning for you on time. Host and his team are really nice people, also offer trips around the island, which I highly recommend. Also organized restaurant reservations for the evenings for their guests. Host also carried us to the ferry port, because busses are rarely driving on the island.

Super nice place! The rooms were clean, very large and well equipped. The breakfast was outstanding and made with love for every single guest. They organized a ride from and to the port as we had no rental car. Beside this they also organized dinners for every evening as restaurants are limited. They own a super cute dog and a cat. The owner is also organizing tours as e.g. kayaking, snorkeling etc. which I can really recommend.

Very clean, conveniently next to train station, many bars and restaurants around.
