Pros:

The location was good for us as we had our own transport. They locked our motorbike in a garage for us. The security is very tight, which was reassuring.
I wouldn't stay here if I was on foot.

Pros:

It's quiet, it sits at the end of a dead-end road near the river.

Cons:

I read the comments before reserving and chose this place because it has hot water. When I arrived the woman confirmed there is hot water. But, when I went to shower there was no hot water. I told the man and woman, the man hurried off somewhere, one would assume to fix whatever the problem was. Later that day, still no hot water, that night, no hot water, the next morning, no hot water.

Pros:

Breakfast was ham and cheese sandwich with scrambled egg on the side. Location is short walk to the shopping mall. Large food court with variety of food choices. There is also a supermarket with a good selection of food choices.

Cons:

There was no hot water in the shower for the last days of our occupation. The hotel seemed to have had better days and generally looked neglected.
In fairness the shut down of tourism in Ecuador due to COVID has hurt this sector. We have stayed in 5 different locations sometimes as the only guest.
