Well, over all we are satisfied of our stay. So thanks to all the helpful staff at Rolet Hotel!
Pros:

My family & I we’ve always use Rolet Hotel every time we are on vacation in Philippines & when we are in Catbalogan! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room are good sizes and this time we had a superb room! So we stayed there for few more nights!

Cons:

It could be better if they do breakfast like they used to before and small Bar resto, so when you thirsty or a bit hungry you can just easily get drinks & a little snacks.

One of the Best in Catbalogan
Pros:

Good location. Slept good

Cons:

Needs some maintenance on the sink. Bathroom has hot water but drain is in the middle of the room .

Comfort, location and Courtesy included in price
Pros:

Staff was very helpful and seemed genuinely interested in our stay being positive experience. Location was also good for walking distance to excellent food.

Cons:

Door know did not work and relied on bolt lock mechanism to get in and out. That we were safe was all that mattered so it was a low level issue.

Not recommended for stay. The hotel management needs to fix the amenities.
Pros:

The receptionist was polite.

Cons:

The shower wasn’t working well. The water pressure was too low. The bathroom’s door was damaged and my son almost got locked inside. The floor is too dusty. Towels are not clean. Bedsheets are dirty and smelly. There is no parking. You park your vehicle on the street at your own risk. The security guard wasn’t helpful.

Ok and helpful staff
Pros:

The location is good near to a good bar and some restaurants. It's also near to all the sights.
The staff is friendly and helpful and gave us extra chairs to our room that we needed.
When we wanted hot water to make our own coffee or tea the staff brought it to our room promptly.
The hotel also helped us find a local guide that took us to a waterfall not far away, a very good experience. The guide, Joni (Trexplore), could have taken us on a full day tour of the fantastic Jiabong cave not far from Catbalogan but that would have been too tough for us.

Cons:

The hotel is rundown and would need a face lift.
Our room looked grubby but was clean and passable. No drinking water or hot water boiler was provided.
Once we got the extra chairs we could function in the room that was spacious enough.
For the price we paid I would have expected a better standard of everything.
