Maravilloso Hotel Pera

Zunächst war das Check-In ziemlich kompliziert. Ich habe ein Zimmer mir Zugang zu einer Terrasse gebucht. Die gesamte Unterkunft verfügt keine Terrasse. Die Duschkabine war undicht, sodass das ganze Badezimmer unter Wasser stand. Abends war es so laut, dass man kaum schlafen konnte. Im Flur haben andere Hotelgäste in den Abendstunden sehr viel Krach gemacht. Nie wieder.

I am so confused as to how this hotel has good reviews. I assume its because of a very nice hotel nearby with a suspiciously similar name.
Unlike the listing indicates, this hotel has no reception. You need a code to go in, which I never received. Luckily another guest shared it with me and the janitor happened to be there and was nice enough to carry my suitcase up the 5 flights of stairs where my room was.
The room walls were covered in greasy palm prints and other stains. There was no wifi and the TV didn't work. The dry wall was desintegrating in some spots and the white dust got on my clothes, since there's virtually no floor space and I had to have my suitcase again the wall.
The toilet seat didn't stay open, so it just leaned on your back while you're using it. The door was very hard to lock and unlock.
I contacted hotels.com about it and all they offered was a $20 travel credit on a future sty and didn't follow up with me by email as they promised.
I tried to contact the property through hotel.com to at least get the wifi information but never received a reply.
Luckily Istanbul is a great city so I just spent as mush time outside as possible, only coming to the room to shower and sleep.
Do yourself a favor and do not book the terrace room!

Geniş bir teras, her ne kadar mevsim itibarıyla çok kullanamasam da çok önemli bir özellik, fakat odanın içinde pek bir yer kalmıyor. Hareket alanı çok kısıtlı. Atıl bir terasın alanının odanın alanına eklenmesi detayını kaçırmışım.
Sıcak su elektrikli bir şofbenle sağlanıyor ve maalesef kaçak var. Lavabo ve duşta elektrik ısırabiliyor.
Yine de personelin nezaketi için çok teşekkürler.

The property is very close to Istiklal St and very easy to find off of the Metro. Bahar was extremely helpful: sharing hip places to eat/drink, organizing a ride to the airport, providing luggage storage, being kind & friendly! I will certainly stay here again next time I visit Istanbul. Just a heads up -- if you have the room with a terrace, the room itself is quite small, but the outdoor space makes up for it!

Large room, very close to metro. Maybe 200 meters. Quick access to the city. Staff very keen to assist.

Kendisi bir otel değil kat kat odaları olan bir apartman, bekleme yeri, resepsiyonu vs bulunmamakta. Odamız giriş katta orta büyülükte sayılabilecek bir odaydı. Temiz. (Bu arada asıl adı Wings of Pera gibi birşey)

It was great place and experience. Room was so clean, tidy and warm. It has a big terrace that you can feel like sitting in a cafe. Additionally their staff helped so much. Communication was perfect. Hope to stay there again.

A big scam - place looks nothing what we can see in the picture. There is a lot of noise from outside even when the windows are closed. The place is terrible damp smell which will give you a headache. You turn on the washroom light and the fan with annoying sound will start too. Overall, terrible experience and one of my big mistake to book this place.

Hotel is at a very nice walking distance from istiklal street and taksin square. We only stayed one night and booked it due to the free airport shuttle as mentioned on the amenities. However as we reached we go to know the airport shuttle wasn’t free and was priced at 40 euros. We declined and took an alternative at a cheaper price. The entrance is kinda hard to find and we had to contact the manager as we waited outside for 5-10mins. Someone came and gave us the entrance code. Hotel room itself tiny but cant complain at the price paid. It was below minus temperature and heating in room was poor.

Recommended for a short transit trip and if you want to explore a little bit of the taksim square however no airport shuttle is provided for free.

Хорошее местоположение. Номер просторный. Вид из окна, стройка вблизи отеля и отсутствие нормальной уборки - большой минус. Сантехника в душевой хлипкая и требует замены. В условиях локдауна не рекомендую.

Liked the place.
It’s ok
But most important this was owner that owner was very helping and know ENGLISH which is big plus point.
He owns other hotels too which are better and little upscale.
