Short stay at Marriot Shanghai pudong south
Pros:

Spacious room, nice bed

Cons:

In the other Marriot hotel there was an expresso machine, this one had a kettle only

Pros:

The room more or less clean.

Cons:

The hotel is too far away from the center. We stayed in the “my little pony” themed room. And it is in another building. And the way to the room was through a deserted part of the hotel. We had an unpleasant feeling as if we are in some horror movie.

Nice stay
Pros:

We stayed for 1 night. The breakfast spread was good. The bed was comfortable. We had welcome fruits plate waiting for us. That was kind of the hotel. Although the room was clean, It's a good time they started upgrading the room.

Great place to stay even though the location is a bit far from the city centre, but it is close to the airport.

Great fun for the children, comfortable for adults
Pros:

Large room with comfortable beds and good food on offer at reasonable prices. The transformers and little pony amusement park was a real hit for the children.

Cons:

It feels like a remote location and away from other attractions. It’s close to PVG airport, which is great, and for short stays it’s not a problem especially as there is a Starbucks and other restaurants right next to the hotel.

Pros:

We booked an Executive Suite, 1 King Bed, Non Smoking. The room was okay clean, but the shower drainer was a little bit slow, when we took the shower the shower place was full of water. We arrived at the hotel around 8:00pm and the executive lounge didn’t have any food left. The executive lounge didn’t have variety of snacks/fruits/drinks. The hotel restaurant on the first floor was slow, we ordered food and it came after 20 minutes. Saw many flies around too.
