The breakfast was lovely and they asked if the dogs was hungry so gave them a sausage each gow nice was that
Nothing
Everything, the place smelt bad, the rooms were very dated with a lot of mould and the carpet looked like it had been dug up by a beast of some sort. Actually left a couple hours after we booked in just couldn't lay in the beds and after reading more.reviews online decided that we can't stay there,.also my.son kept saying I don't have a good feeling about his place, wasn't going to expose him to a night of worrying either.
Location was great for our overnight stop . Beds were comfortable
Very tired rooms lots of damp patches everywhere and black mould in the bathroom.
Breakfast was ok as long as you wanted the dust from the bottom of the cereal .
charm and character property
dated and requires updating which has already started room by room.
Nothing. Maybe the towels, had there been an opportunity to use them. They looked new and clean. The bed was tolerably comfortable and the linens were clean. The Internet worked.
Had to argue to get the room on the ground floor that had been specifically promised. The room was minute, badly lit, had little furniture....not even a chair... and no comforts. No soap. The shower cubicle was large enough for a midget and appeared both grubby and dangerous. I couldn't bring myself to use it. The area of town was horrific. Most things appeared to have closed down or were boarded and shuttered, presumably against crime.
Had this been for more than a quick overnight stay I would have refused to stay.
The location was handy with a pub across the road. Good driving access to tourist locations.
Our beds were memory foam, at first comfy, but by morning they were not. Probably the worst beds we'd slept on during our 3 week roadtrip through England. Bathroom was very tiny as well. A fan for summer nights and iron would be useful.
WTF… It’s like being transported back to the 1960s only with everything falling apart and a serious hygiene disaster thrown in. I’ve stayed in some pretty ropey hotels over the years, but this one really takes the biscuit.
Avoid at all costs. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Absolutely dire in every possible way.
The staff were very helpful, changing our room to ground floor due to Mike's bad leg. The room was clean with comfortable bed. A good selection for breakfast including a full cooked English breakfast.
The property is old but has some charm left of years gone by.
The other guests were a mixture of people with mental health problems, recently released from prison and a whole host of issues which make them not safe to be around children.
Nice place, very kind and friendly staff. We arrived 10pm and were still able to get our obligatory pint of milk 🥰 For free 🥰 Thank you
Manager welcoming
Decor very dated, public areas need a deep clean, breakfast was ok, chef needs to wear a clean jacket or apron if going to be taking the food order.
Breakfast is excellent cooked by a hard working Hotel employee who does all kinds of jobs...the man is rushed off his feet..!
Comfortable however basic room
Basic room, location meant a walk to eat and drink
The owner /staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. They would go out of their way if we needed anything. The character of the building with a beautiful decorative glass stained window.
The bed was very comfortable and our room en suite was very spacious and very clean.
The breakfast was very nice too.
We have no issues at all.
The staff were friendly and tried their best. We requested an accessible room for a disabled relative and they were going to put us on first floor. with no lift. They did change this but room was not suitable for a disabled person. It had bath not shower and the door could not fit a wheelchair. Breakfast was good.
Facilities for disable. IT stated they had these when clearly they did not
Dobra lokalizacja i miły personel
Byliśmy pogryzieni przez coś po przespanej nocy
Nothing.
Absolutely everything. The place was dirty and stunk. The guy behind the bar was good, very friendly and cheerful but others we saw were miserable. This was like "One flew over the cuckoo's nest", people bouncing in and out and hanging about outside looking drunk or out of their face. Avoid and book the Ibis in the centre for a great location.
The owner and the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to help.
