We had a great dinner and then English breakfast in the morning. Lovely staff looked after us very well.

Great place to stay, room in little building at the back of a courtyard, clean, super quiet and really comfy bed. The food is fantastic and staff are welcoming and friendly 😀

I booked 1 room through booking (dot
Com) cheaper. Room was fantastic. The room through ‘hotels’ was not brilliant condition and some uncomfortable looking headboard stains. For the price I would have expected better. Hard to get too with road closures, basic amenities but lovely food in pub. Bfast was awesome but very very slow and came out at different times.

A great pub. Really lovely staff. Very quiet. Our onlly complaint would be that the toilet cistern was running all the time in our room. This had been mentioned in the guests feedback book but was still not sorted. What a waste of water.

Staff were very friendly. On arrival we were shown to our room which was clean warm and comfortable. Stayed two nights as was due to visit Highclere Castle the following day. They also serve food which was ideal. This is a lovely rural pub with lots of character log fire oak beams etc would definitely recommend.

The Christmas feast was amazing, the room and pub was olde worlde cute and very comfortable, the staff were all lovely. Trivia was heaps of fun. Thanks Sharon, Kev and the rest of the amazing staff. See you all next year xx

Used the venue as i was attending a wedding nearby. Easy to find, good parking and the staff were really helpful. The room was quite small but i havent got any complaints as it was just being used to sleep in, didnt need lots of space. Happy with the venue and would recommend.
