Pleasant experience.

The only thing not so good was the walk into centre further than I anticipated, there is short cut but down very sleep hills and stones can be slippery .

Great view, outdated pics, bad value
Pros:

The view over the town is indeed great. People running the place are friendly. Breakfast is tasty, varied and big. Coffee is good. Room (I had number 10) was quite large plus there are really nice decorative touches like the huge painting on the wall of the room. Bed was comfy.

Cons:

Place  lacks general maintenance. Pictures are outdated, fx there is no more hammock or tables on the balcony (now it's mostly used for drying laundry). There is mold in the bathroom and on the wooden parts of the walls (the town is very humid). One of the two towels provided had plenty of holes. Bedside lamp didn't work because the wiring was broken (it was replaced). Shower has weak pressure. Wifi was very slow and unstable. In conclusion I would say that the value is not good.

we loved it! but it is not for the faint of heart
Pros:

it was simple but clean. Excellent beds and sheets

Cons:

it is sort of challenging to get to the entrance of the hotel….. you have to take a very steep path down to the parking.
The very friendly owner saw our reluctance and came up the path where he took over the driving
