Terrible hotel
The location of the hotel and the food.
Everything about the stay and the hotel comes under" didn't like" category.
1.Room allotted was notbthe same as booked. Reason given is, we didn't pay advance money to hotel fir confirmation. My logic was, booking. Com has our card details and part amount could charged anytime without additional permission. Not accepted. The room alloted had no phone, no tea coffee maker, full of mosquitoes, bathroom had no hot water during the entire stay, even after multiple complaints. It was such a horrible stay and what is shocking, that, this hotel is figured in Booking.com site with stars, and prompted to book as recommended ones. Been with Boking.com for many years, had Sone bad experience with booking earlier also. But this one is one if the worst one.
Normally staff in Puri Hotel are polite and obliging to tourists. Even here, the reception staff are arrogant, a y complaint, reply is go and tell booking.com etc.
It is regretted that after so many bookings, we have to face such aweful experiences, booked from you.
Need lots of improvement, during reservations check out time promised like all hotels 11am in writing. When arrive at hotel they will tell you to check out at 8am. And hotel staff will not honor promises by Expedia written and printed reservations timings. Be ready to wonder on street for 3 hours if you do not plan before 8am.
Location was really nice as well as the food.
Cleanliness of the property, specially bath rooms. They aren't accepting credit cards which is a real set back as well.
