Great location, we walked to the beach in under 10 minutes and the famous Kata night market is a 3 minute walk down the road.
Great pool with good happy hour 4-6 pm.
Staff were so kind and lovely.
Buffet breakfast was delicious, good variety and they changed things every day.
the gym is located in the hotel next door but wasn’t a problem as it’s very close
Personale accogliente, struttura fornita di palestra e una bellissima piscina sul tetto. Abbiamo cenato una sera presso il loro ristorante ed era buono a prezzi altrettanto buoni.
Al nostro arrivo la stanza che ci avevano assegnato era piena di umiditá e puzzava al punto che abbiamo chiesto un cambio. Nella nuova stanza era un po meglio ma comunque tanta umiditá. Spiaggia lontana e servizio navetta solo 2 volte al giorno. Tappetino del bagno di un materiale che si inzuppava ogni volta. Camere non insonorizzate e si sentiva sia l’ascensore sia le persone camminare. Chiedono 3000 THB come deposito cash che vengono ridati al check out.
Great staff n value for money for location
I am very disappointed with my stay at Wekata Luxury.
My experience at check-out was extremely disappointing.
The hotel refused to return my USD 300 security deposit, claiming there was a scratch on the glass cooktop. They did not provide a proper damage report, repair invoice, or any evidence that justified withholding such a large amount.
I expected a fair and transparent process, but instead I felt that the situation was handled unfairly. I recommend that future guests carefully inspect the room upon check-in, take photos of everything, and make sure they fully understand the hotel's security deposit policy before staying.
Unfortunately, this experience overshadowed the rest of my trip.
Gorgeous hotel in beautiful kata lovely place to stay
Location
The worst hotel experience I've ever had.
We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were pressured to leave a 5-star review before being given our room at 12:00 PM, even though I had requested early check-in in advance.
The hotel also required a USD 300 security deposit. At check-out, the staff claimed that we had scratched the electric cooktop and refused to return the deposit. The mark they showed us appeared old and could have existed before our stay. We did not cause any damage.
We had to call the police to resolve the situation. After the police arrived, the hotel returned only USD 200, while keeping USD 100, despite not providing convincing evidence that we were responsible for the alleged damage.
This experience caused unnecessary stress and ruined the end of our holiday. I strongly recommend that future guests inspect and photograph the entire room, especially the kitchen and any existing marks, immediately upon check-in if they are required to pay a security deposit.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The swimming pool was beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious food, and everything was fresh and well prepared. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything I needed. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely stay here again.
