Peaceful and secluded
Pros:

Only 6 villas so lovely and relaxed. It is a little out of the way if you don’t have your own transport however staff always happy to arrange anything for you

Cons:

The beach out front was littered with rubbish. Eventually after asking a few times why outside other places was clean and InBalance wasn’t the gardener swept it.

Hôtel exceptionnel!
Pros:

Absolument tout était parfait : la chambre que nous avions donne directement sur la plage et la piscine. L'endroit est intimiste et calme. Le personnel est exceptionnel. Les prix sont vraiment très raisonnables. Nous avons mangé tout les jours sur place : un pur régal! Et que dire de la salle de bain extérieure 😍

Heerlijk verblijf voor een paar luie dagen.
Pros:

We kwamen voor een paar rustige, luie dagen en die hebben we gevonden. Door de kleinschaligheid en afgelegen ligging konden we optimaal tot rust komen en het is dicht genoeg bij Lovina om ook dingen te doen. Verwacht geen luxe shoppingmalls. De boeddhistische tempel in de buurt is de moeite waard en ook Ulun Danu Bratan (die je ook ook onderweg naar of van zuid-Bali kunt doen) is dat.

Cons:

De buitenbadkamer is heel mooi en functioneel zolang het droog is, maar bij een regenbui zou een afdakje misschien wel iets aangenamer zijn. En vergis je niet in de afstand ten opzichte van Den Pasar. Door het drukke verkeer en de slechte wegen moet je daar toch echt wel ruim 4 uur voor rekenen.

Pros:

Schöne ruhige Anlage. Alles sehr gepflegt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kokosnuss wurde direkt vom Baum für mich gepflückt. Essen war sehr gut. Manche Essen muss man am Tag vorher bestellen, so z.B gegrillter Fisch. Der war dann aber sensationell gut.
Massage und Ausflüge kann man über das Hotel buchen. Alles super!

Herziges kleines Juwel in Nordbali, für alle, die gerne einfach mal ausspannen möchten
Pros:

Tolle Anlage direkt am Strand. Infinity Pool, Outdoor-Badezimmer. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Die Besitzer Dewi und Paul haben hier ein kleines Juwel abseits der Touristenpfade geschaffen. In der Zwischensaison hat man das Hotel manchmal sogar für sich allein 😁.

Cons:

Wie überall in Nordbali braucht man mindestens einen Roller, wenn man sich unabhängig bewegen möchte.

Pros:

Paul ist ein sehr aufmerksamer und kommunikativer Besitzer. Er macht soweit alles möglich, organisiert und chauffiert. Eine Massage am Strand oder auch ein Candle Light Dinner wurde möglich gemacht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Pros:

El trato del personal, las comidas, la piscina, la playa y el entorno en general . Es perfecto para desconectar de tu día a día.

Beautiful slice of paradise
Pros:

Beautiful spot on the ocean, amazing wonderful and thoughtful staff. Rooms are spectacular, brand new.

Cons:

Food menu needs some attention. Pre ordering food for the next day works, unless the market doesn’t have what you ordered.

It’s very secluded, the road to it is hard to locate and very bumpy.

Pros:

Clean rooms with very nice open bathroon. Location just outside lovina and with a scooter on pantai lovina within 10 minutes. So nice things to visit (buddist temple, hotsprings and waterfalls) nearby. Walking between the ricefields behind the resort is always nice…. Meeting interested local people who invite you for coffee and other things. Local life is always 10+

Cons:

The staff was not interested in their customers. No interaction or what so ever. The resort was very boring, no (soft) music during breakfast or a nice conversation. The food was nothing special and a bit overpriced. We went outside because of this (and because very boring on resort).
The poolbar was always closed and also no (soft) music to enjoy.

Small-scale friendly place in the Lovina area
Pros:

Lovely small place outside of Lovina (about 10-15 min drive). Only has about 6 rooms so it’s calm, small scale, personal and friendly. Great to chill and relax though also sufficiently family-friendly for our 3 year old kid (borrowed some pool/beach toys which were a great success). Lots of day trips and transport can be booked through them at a fair price. The food was great too. The public beach right in front is littered unfortunately but not so much that it stopped us from enjoying it (my kid enjoyed the authorised mud play with the black sand, the waves are mild enough to swim, and the sunsets are great). You’ll have it to yourself with a handful of locals in any case.

Cons:

As noted in other reviews: not all rooms actually have a sea view, only 1 of them does, the rest faces the pool or the garden/restaurant, but they did contact us right away after booking to confirm we were ok with that.
