Hotel Chandela Khajuraho

The sweet (suite) room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable with a lovely ambiance. The swimming pool was amazing—perfectly maintained and very relaxing after a long day. 🏊‍♂️ very nearest to temple also

The services; food and overall ambiance is very good. The hotel is located close to attractions. The pools side rooms with direct entry to pool are available. The hotel is very neat and clean . The rooms are spacious and has everything you need.

Era muy lujoso

We really liked the Chandela. It’s been refurbished and modernised; has a lovely pool though watch out for the mossies if you choose to have a pool side drink in the evening; food’s great in the restaurant; and the doormen must be selected for the magnificence of their moustaches. Worth a selfie!

Room is generously sized and comfortable

The hotel is within walking distance of the temples.. which is probably the main reason most people visit Khajuraho; we were taken by coach on our first visit but the next day we chose to walk and it was an easy walk. (We were a bit taken aback when we found out that you can’t buy entry tickets at the temples you have to buy them online but we managed in the end).

In particular I’d like to call out the outstanding service provided in the Levant restaurant by Ganesh Kumar Sen and Samir Chakravorthy. These guys were great!

If I have a quibble it’s the restrictions on the number of devices you can connect to Wifi- after connecting our phones I couldn’t connect my iPad. I don’t think I’m unique in travelling a phone and a tablet. But a very minor quibble.
