Great value, friendly helpful staff clean & comfortable
Pros:

Great location..my daughter lives 5 miles away. Staff were informative & very friendly.
Our room was clean & comfortable. We both enjoyed our cooked breakfast. Would recommend. Thank you. 😊

Staff were nice, room was bareable except the eggy lingering drain smell
Pros:

Good location and the restaurant was nice. Good food quality.

Cons:

There was a horrible smell the entire time we stayed which i assume was the drains. Mentioned it to three members of staff and no one did anything or offer a different room.

OK for the price but will look elsewhere for our next stay.
Pros:

Location was good for visiting our family. Plenty of parking. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Key card for the room didn't work and after waiting over 10 minutes at check in desk for someone to respond to the buzzer I had to go over to the pub to find someone to re programme the card. The room was cold even though the electric heater was on full. Dissapointed the pub didn't have any cask beer even though it had 3 handpumps - was really looking forward to a nice pint having been driving and not able to have one earlier.

A bit of a let down
Pros:

My Son had the breakfast which was very poor the ovens had broke and so could not have the breakfast he had paid for so a terrible bacon and sausage roll he was given

Cons:

There was no salads to choose from just lots of grills for meat eaters
The bed was never made and we had to fetch our own tea and coffee that service was poor

No one at reception even after ringing the bell twice. Waited 15 mins untill went into the pub to ask for help to check in

Good enough for us to return, if accessible shower is provided.
Pros:

The staff were absolutely 💯 brilliant. Nothing was too much to make our stay brilliant.

Cons:

I'm disabled and booked a disabled room with accessible shower. However, on arrival all was going well. Ramp into our room, which was bigger than I expected. However, opened bathroom door, disappointed to say the least. The accessible shower, was in fact a bath with a shower over it. There was no way even with assistance that I could get in, meaning my partner had to sink wash me for our stay.

Great location, great value for money and always spotless
Pros:

We have stayed at the bowman over many years now and it never disappoints. Great value for money, staff always friendly, rooms always spotless.

Cons:

We waited for someone to check us in for a while and rang the bell. The lovely cleaning lady came to the rescue was was very helpful and checked us in
