Pros:

Nice walks by lake although bit of a walk to get to.

Cons:

Room was dark and felt damp but quite big. Very basic.
Food had minimal veggie dishes.
Cutlery and glasses very dirty, lipstick and water marks were still on glass.
Staff smoking and chattering in reception, bit intimidating and unprofessional.

Pros:

Dog friendly room.

Cons:

I have stayed before without dogs and the room was much better, had a bath, and cleaner. This room smelt strongly of dogs. People going back to their rooms were noisy and food was poor in the neighbouring pub.

I would definitely stay there again
Pros:

It was quiet and very clean. Great location for me...tram just a 15 min walk away. My room was straightened and cleaned at least once during my short stay...

Cons:

The window lock didn't work and I found it open one day...not too secure as the screws were coming out....but it was ok....I forgot to tell the staff that how much it bothered me...so no big deal

Pros:

We had an excellent stay at the Bowman. All the staff were very friendly, the room was large, clean and excellent value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
