Pros:

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The rooms and public areas are very clean and well maintained. The facilities provided and the town centre location were ideal. The complimentary breakfast was perfect, well stocked and a great way to start the day.

Second time we have stayed there would stay again it’s perfect

The hotel and the room were very clean and comfortable. Rooms had everything you needed, clean towels, tea making facilities, heater, fan, TV. The complimentary breakfast (self-serve buffet) was well thought out with plenty of options and had a microwave, toaster and kettle

Cons:

Unfortunately, the room we chose was quite noisy. Music from the local nightclub could be heard throughout the night into the early hours of the morning, leading to disturbed sleep. However, I would book this hotel again but maybe try a different room. Also, it would be handy if there was a hand-wash facility, sanitising station or wipes in the food area to encourage people to wash their hands before handling the food 😊

Pros:

Very, very clean room and hotel in general. Very comfortable bed. Perfect location for my visit.

Cons:

Noise from adjacent building meant I couldn’t have window open. Oddly designed bathroom. Poor breakfast choice for price paid.

Pros:

Self check in, very clean, led lights throughout is a very nice touch. The bathroom door was coming away from the hinges and had to push the door up to close it, mentioned this to the number provided and they upgraded me to a room with a balcony.

Pros:

It was comfortable and there were a lot of facilities to use.

Cons:

The window was broken, the curtains were still stained (we had stayed in the same room in February and this was the same), the kettle inside had a layer of mould and limescale at the bottom. The bathroom smelt bad, may have been a drainage issue.

A comedy of errors for our stay - avoid at all costs

The online check-in link we were sent before arriving didn’t work, we couldn’t access the property because we didn’t have a UK mobile to receive the PIN, the breakfast room was locked XMAS day so we went hungry, there’s no phone at reception where you could phone someone, when we did get access to the breakfast room the following day, there was no working power (an electrician had to be contacted), the building had a terrible mouldy and musty smell. We would never recommend anyone to stay here.

Great position not far from spoons pub and many eating places, clean and well appointed

Cons:

Bed not overly comfy
There was a strange odour in all hallways (smelled like sewer) and particularly bad near after hours entry.
It was really off putting having no staff present.
The decor was a little glitzy
