Hotel El Cason and Suites

Did not stay there air conditioner did not work. I was moved to another room and the air conditioner was not working. While I waited for them to come and check the air I pulled back the bedding and the sheets were filthy dirty. I immediately left the hotel. The guy at the front desk wouldn’t refund my money.

I decided in this hotel because of its location and the fact that it didn’t have carpet in some of the rooms since my son and mother have asma. I booked four rooms two weeks before and confirmed five days before we arrived two of the rooms were executive since they have laminate floor each with two beds to sleep three per room, my relatives got there hours before I did and called to confirm Reservation three hours before check in and they couldn’t find there reservations which by the way they did send me an email the day I called to book the rooms, finally after a half hour wait on phone they managed to confirm. At 1 when I arrived turns out they didn’t have any my rooms they had given them to someone else they only had one executive with king size bed (for three?!) they wanted to give me standard rooms my other guest were fine with it but I couldn’t put my son and mom in a room with carpet so they managed to put a full size bed in with the king size. Standard rooms which from my guests told me were not worth cost the bathrooms were old and not the best on standard on executive rooms they look like they have been remodeled recently. Oh and they are very stingy on towels we had to use the same ones we used the late afternoon the day before in the morning and we had two towels for three guests luckily I carry a towel for my son. We did ask for more and the cleaning lady could only give one more so we gave it the ones in the standard room, after we used them and since we were leaving the morning after we asked for clean ones and they couldn’t change them. The pool hours are supposedly from ten to ten well they were up early to have breakfast so they could use the pool before we left, they couldn’t since they weren’t opening it to later we left and still wasn’t open. Food was ok at breakfast but the afternoon we got there some of my family members decided to eat there and they said they had the worst experience ever, food took about an hour to get to them and their meat was raw I mean dripping blood raw and not to mention service was awful, they tried to talk to manager and he never got there. Overall definitely would not go back there.

Carne here with my girl to get a good rest the night before going on a trip to Creel, and all night long two guys in the next room had loud music outside the room and were drinking and talking in a LOUD voice. I had to call management over 5 times in the course of three hours to have the problem solved and all they did was send "security" (a nice little old guy) over and over to ask them to stop. They never did. We couldn't rest at all. And management were absolutely clueless as to what to do. Clearly unprofessional and careless about customers. My recommendation: Do NOT stay if you want to get a good night sleep. The jacuzzi is cold, shower temperature isn't hot enough, and the ac machine is terribly loud. If you do decide to come here (again, not really recommended), make sure to ask for the most isolated room possible and you may get a good rest. The bed was comfortable enough. Good luck!
