Grand Beach Resort

Great location just 100 meter walking distance from the sea beach. Most friendly and helpful F&B Staff lovely and great first impression of hotel.Kudos to Sudip and his team Bachhu,Ranjeet,Sudip Sing,Sidhant,Asit,Rajesh,Ranjeet,Deepak they made our complete stay a memorable one ,keen interest and urge to serve the guest out of the way accepting all our requests with a smile made us enjoy each and every moment.Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, room. Food is one thing for what we would be back again Kudos to the Chef and his team .Local food were great and felt we were having it back in our home .Housekeeping team was excellent and efficient. Great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. We were very pleased with our stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

NOTE:
1.Pool Attendent & Front Office need to be bit calm and not that rigid .Hospitality industry always don't run on rigid decision.

2.While Allocating rooms FO should keep in mind of Allocating Family rooms on a side and possible of Stag group on another side.

We booked a presidential suite for 3 adults and 1 child. Since the name suggests it's a suite and that to presidential we had an idea it will have a seperate living area and a seperate bedroom. But it is not that, it was a big spacious room, clean and well maintained. My suggestion to the management that please don't name it as suite, guest will have a different expectations from it. It should be name deluxe or super deluxe etc but not suite and not at all presidential suite. Coming to the room, it is very well maintained, the bathroom have a jacuzzi which is very good and relaxing.
The food was very good and also the service was very professional. They have their own bakery, it is a plus.
Again as name suggests beach resort but the resort is not beach facing, you have to walk for a minute to reach the beach. Beach is very close to the resort.
This resort has a water park which is cleaned every day during our stay.
This resort is very good for family as there is a kid play area for there entertainment.
I will definitely visit next time.

Lovely family place,with kids, parents, relaxed and fun. Best attraction is the heated not very deep pool.with Jacuzzis. And the water park for kids, water park for grownups, rain dance under gazebo,lively atmosphere.rooms are nice,good shower,decent resturant too.bfast buffet not too greatand limited.THE WORST AND MOST DISTASTEFUL REPULSIVE FACT is the fact that THE MANAGEMENT ALLOWS FOOD AND DRINKS TO BE SERVED AT THE POOL BOUNDARY AND TAKEN IN BY THE GUESTS INSIDE THE WATER IN THE POOL.there will be butter chicken masala spilled next to pool getting drenched in rain and floating in the water, while the guests are eating or leaving it there.and also reordering.and the repeat being served again..in same manner. DISGUSTING!guests are having their alcohol inside the family pool, walking in the water.entertaining for some, disrespectful for others..esp.with children. Yet this MANAGEMENT promotes and allows. So if you are tolerant to this for your kids and family, or if you like enjoying the same, Grand Beach Resort, will be most welcoming and give you a very enjoyable stay for sure.

The property is very beautiful and well maintained.
The pool and water park are the best things about this hotel. Breakfast has a good quantity of options, food quality is good , usually they used to take a lot of time to serve the food that they can improve.
But this property is located quite away from the beach.

Nice room and service and food was very excellent...... staff's behaviour was fantastic. Specially I meet a service boy name subhadeep he guide me whole evening snacks and food also. And every food he suggested node out very good. Specially badami murgh Tikka and dub chingri was very good. Hope to visit this place again soon.

we were travelling with our 1 yr old kid for the first time.
The resort accommodated every thing very well. provided normal food prepared for the baby. 2 times daily. the room service was exceptional. Another thing to point out was the payment. where most of the properties do no accept cards or charge additional 2-3 % , they did not charge anything extra. the whole process was hassle free.
Only suggestion would be change the timing of the water park so that kids could enjoy it more. currently its from 12pm.
Other than this it was a pleasurable experience.

Parhetic system of reservation. Kept on requesting and communicating for booking but the people receiving the phone are totally unprofessional and misbehaved. They confirmed me the availability and before they could send the link they gave the rooms to others for a higher price. Unfair business practise.

We stayed at the GBR on 25-27th feb 2023.Our main reason to stay there was the water park as we we travelling with twin toddlers and we hoped they would love it.. And i must say, it was worth the choice. The water park is super amazing (timing 1130-440pm), well maintained, clean but just one point here. Though the rules say strictly swim wear, people don't bother to listen to the staff and literally wear anything n every thing, like salwar suit, shorts t shirt, etc. Especially ladies. In fact one lady I saw washed the feet (while wearing slippers) in the water. That's horrible. Such people should be banned. The hotel staff are too coordial and proactive. The room, we hired was presidential suite with jacuzzi, it was huge, spacious, all equipments working in good condition. Coming to the swimming pool, it's huge, has a v small area covered too , though doesn't have a child pool. The beach has a hookah n liquor counter which is definitely a cherry on the cake. 😃. The rates for hookah and liquor are v reasonable .Now coming to the food, we are pure vegetarians so based on that v had
Garlic nan -one of the best till date
Dal makhani - at throw away price and super yumm
Kadhai Paneer- a lil excess oily buy tasty
Tandoori roti and tawa roti- pretty amazing and cheap
Pizza -awesome.we wanted to take it home.
Basically they have a separate bakery which is doing pretty well for quality and pricing.

Also the hotel has a dormitory for staff/driver to stay @500 per nyt (only accommodation) which seemed decent to our male staff who accompanied us.
The beach was 1-2 mins walk from hotel. The beach though in itself seemed not great.

So it's a worth stay and one must definitely stay in this hotel peacefully. We will definitely re visit..

Booked a stay in this hotel for family online via MMT for 1 night.
Pros:
1. Check in & check out was fast & hassle free. We were given welcome drink too.
2. We booked suite room (cottages beside the pool). Initially we were given the corner most cottage. We didn't like the location & asked to change. Immediately they considered the request of change & gave us cottage no. 1023 which was just beside the kids waterpark.
3. Location is good and beach is within walkable distance.
4. Proper gated car parking is available inside.
5. Room was big & very clean. Bathroom was big and neat and had attached bathtub too. Balcony had chairs for sitting too. Facilities like electric kettle, small fridge, tea making kit, toiletry kit, hair dyer, bathroom slippers etc. were available inside room.
6. The resort's overall décor & facilities were mind blowing. It has kids pool with waterpark (12pm-4pm) which is really unique & super fun & worth mentioning. We had a gala time there with my kid. Another pool is also there for adults. Also, a small park for kids is there with slides, swings etc. The evening lighting & fountains are a treat to watch. Bonfire is available too in the evening, with sitting facility around.
7. There's a café inside with yummy cakes, pastries, mousse, donuts, sweets, etc. It was my daughter's birthday the next day, so we pre ordered a cake. And they made sure to deliver the freshly made cake to our room exactly at 11.45pm for the midnight celebration.
8. Hukka & hard drinks facilities are available too. We sat in our room balcony & enjoyed hukka. Room service is really good and fast. They will come at late night too to cleanup the room after booze.
9. Staffs are helpful & very well behaved. We travelled with toddler. The staffs were very friendly & played with her too.
10. Complimentary breakfast was also very good. It was a buffet breakfast with many options like puri sabji, poha, omlette, boiled eggs, dry fruit cakes, bread jam & butter, cornflakes, milk, tea, coffee, juice, fresh fruit cuts, etc.
11. The food was very tasty & good quantity. We had veg thali, chingri malai curry, tandoori pompret, tandoori chicken, prawn fry & many other dishes. All tasted very good & price is reasonable too.

Cons:
Only issue I noticed was that there was a delay by the security guard to open the main gate for the car. The resort has 2 gates to enter. Initially we parked our car is gate no. 2. But later when we has our room shifted, then while shifting our car we had to wait outside gate for quite sometime.
Anyway, I will definitely come back to Mandarmani just to enjoy my stay in this resort again.

We visit the proprietary on 3rd Nov, and found it very well maintained with pool, kids water slides, garden, nice rooms.

Service of food and its quality was good.

However during checkout, we had a very bitter exp.

When we left room, staff checked and said all ok. We cleared bill, but as we were about to go out of the gate, they stopped us pointing a very small burn on the bed sheet. Due to that they were charging us 1000 Rs. We told that it's not clear if the burnt was before as while checking its not possible to minutely check everything.
We requested to show bill for the bed sheet purchase, CCTV footage, where it was evident that it was a sheet taken out from the room occupied,none was provided.

This bitter altercation at the time of checkout was not necessary at all.

The behavior of the staff at reception and the manager was not pleasant at all.

Sharing as we heard they are doing this act with few people during checkout time. So be careful.

The resort is well maintained. Has a water park and close to beach, just 3/5 mins walk. Kids will have a blast as well as the seniors. The Jacuzzi is worth mentioning and is rejuvenating. The food cost is quite reasonable. They have various thalis which they serve in special utensils.

Excellent people, well maintained and clean property. Nice facilities.

Road to the beach is terrible. Trash being dumped on it (not the fault of the property owner).

It is a moderate hotel. Still under construction. Swimming pool is good. Room service good.ground floor not good. Good parking area. Sea is very close. Rooms rent are double bed room approximately Rs 3000 if front side. Backside approximately Rs 2200. Bugaining is available. Swimming pool night DJ available.

The rooms are all on the ground floor, however, they have built a G+3 building within the premises, which, when rented out, will be better to live in.

Pros:

1. The rooms are properly sound proof, so you don't get the outside noice unless the management decides to play songs through their PA system.
2. Clean and spacious
3. Good food.
4. Has a liquor store just outside the gate. The swimming pool is well maintained and clean

Cons:

1. The bathroom Curtain is dirty and mouldy
2. There is no screen behind the window Curtain, as a result, when you slide the curtain, inside of the room is clearly visible from outside
3. The restaurant is too small for the residents, as a result, either you stand in the que or come back after 1/2 hour to get entry.
4. The Hotel is NOT on the neach and has no direct access to the beach. However, a 5 minutes walk will take you to the beach.

Great experience with 5 star experience.Clean rooms,prompt housekeeping services,food is also very good.With another property coming up next to it,I can guarantee that it would be the best property in Mandarmani leaving behind its competitions far behind

It was a fantastic stay. The property is well maintained and followed Covid protocols. The rooms were great. Evening a bonfire in the lawn by the pool side made it perfect. The beach is 2 mins away from the hotel. The rooms are cosy and rooms have a small balcony space which makes evenings more relaxing. Would love to visit again

One of the best properties in Mandarmoni. Just wish they maintain this way. Big rooms with bathtubs, great linen and furnishings. As if we are staying in some 5star property in Miami
Strongly recommend for families who want a luxury stay with all the best of amenities

It is a nice hotel. All the staffs are all friendly and good. Food is good, specially seafood items. Sometimes you may not get some items from the menu, but it is ok for us. Pool is clean and maintained. Rooms are are clean. We stayed in 1027 and 1026. These are not the pool side rooms though, but they are clean, spacious and value for money. The children park is also good, all the park equipment are in running condition. Only negative point is the sea. Sea is 5 minutes walk from the hote. You can't see sea, you can't hear its sound also. Though we know this before booking it, or else it deserves a 5 star.

This is a newly opened resort although a little far from the main beach but nicely built with good decor, clean n big pool and equally good kids area. Rooms are pretty spacious,washroom was very clean with bathtub, overall, it gave a premium feel. The restaurant,service,food n rates are all good. The only drawback is approach road to the resort is in poor state and beach accessible near thr resort is not good for bathing n fun ,the water is far from the shore. So, for pure beach fun one needs to go to the main town area which is like 20 mins drive.
If the management can do something about the mosquitoes in the lawn that would be really great. The guests can be provided with coils to enjoy a good evening near thr pool.
Else, all was fun!

Had done the booking through booking.com. Mr. Shambhu refused to honor the booking and mentioned that they have not listed the property in booking.com, and that booking.com is acting on their own without a tie up. This is completely incorrect as otherwise the resort should file a suit on booking.com. The truth is the property uses booking.com as a back up booking agency and if they don't get booking at higher prices from other sites/or directly only then they honor bookings through booking.com. They were asking us to pay same price for a junior suite what I had booked for a suite room through booking.com.

Also the location of the resort is far away from center of Mandarmani and the approach road is in a perilous condition. The beach is little away and the main attraction of Mandarmani is beach, so I am happy they dishonored my booking and I could stay in a nice beach facing property.
