An excellent hotel in the perfect location with excellent staff, rooms and food.
Pros:

Great location. Lovely boutique atmosphere with excellent staff. The menu was very good and the quality and presentation of food was excellent. I really enjoyed the hotel vibe in the lounge/cocktail bar. I also had a Balinese massage, which was very good. I totally recommend this hotel.

Cons:

Nothing, everything the staff did was spot on.

Fantastique expérience, à recommander!
Pros:

La verrière au dessus du patio central donne beaucoup de clarté et d'élégance à cet hotel magnifiquement décoré. Le personnel est très professionnel, très avenant et efficace, spécialement Orkhan et Inara. La situation de l'hotel est très centrale, près du Bulvar, des musées, de la vieille ville, des restaurants et pour faire du shopping. Chambre spacieuse et calme, petit déjeuner généreux et varié, grand choix de boissons.

Cons:

La rue latérale n'était pas accessible en voiture et les bagages ont dû être portés sur 300m, c'est surtout gênant lorsqu'il pleut.

Feels like home in the heart of the city
Pros:

The location is absolutely perfect—right in the very center, making everything easily accessible. What truly stands out, though, is the staff: incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They make you feel almost like part of a family. Any request is handled immediately and with care. Highly recommended.

Don’t hesitate, book this fantastic hotel today.
Pros:

Beautiful property, 1920s modern feel. Comfortable beds, brilliant showers. Bar well stocked, fun cocktails. Breakfast was great, Omelettes very tasty. Ate in the restaurant a couple of times, food was top notch, puddings amazing. Walking distance to lots of attractions including the old town, Maiden’s Tower and the waterfront.

Cons:

I loved it all. The staff were so friendly. We had issues with a cancelled flight, they were so helpful and managed to find us rooms for the extra night and arranged a car to get us to the airport for the rebooked flight.
Special mention to: Vaqif, Jafar, Rustam and Sultan (apologies if I haven’t spelled names properly)! If I am lucky enough to return, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Расположение отеля прекрасное, в самом сердце Баку. Отель очень уютный. В лобби очень уютно. Камин, диван, пуфики и кресла, прекрасная музыка, пение птиц (живут 2 попугая) - все располагает к отдыху. Номер превзошел все ожидания. В номере чайник и кофемашина, каждый день меняли туалетные принадлежности, убирали, всегда были чай и кофе. Каждый день звонили с ресепшена и спрашивали: не нужно ли нам что либо. Персонал вежливый и заботливый. Завтраки это отдельная история. Они безупречны, на любого гурмана, вегана и т.д. Свежевыжатые соки, смузи, фрукты, овощи, сыры, колбасы, нацыональные блюда.... Для мужа было важно наличие каши и творога. Каждое утро свежая выпечка. Мы остались очень довольны, что выбрали для своего отдыха отель The Merchant Baku.

Pros:

All of the staff were very helpful from check in to check out. We arrived early in the morning and very tired and they helped us for early check in which make us really happy. Everybody is very kind and seems so happy and always there when you need anything. The room was very clean and comfortable, big enough to relax with big windows, we stayed in deluxe room. The drinking water was replenished everyday. The bathroom is also great with a high pressure of water which makes eveb more relaxed. All amenities are in the bathroom too.
The breakfast was super good with a lot of variety. You have the possibility to have your eggs cooked as per your request. There is tea selection as well as a healty breakfast part.
The road in front of the hotel is pedestrian road which makes the rooms even quiter.
If we come again we will definitely stay here again.
