The Merchant Baku

Stuff was like family members. Always trying to make your stay comfortable. Location is perfect. Lot of bars and restaurants from one side and very quiet streets from the main entrance side. One of the best breakfast in hotels I have ever had. Rooms are big and beautiful. Elevator is fast like F1 :)) I am going to stay in the hotel in September again.

Our stay was a perfect example of great value for money and a high hospitality standard.

The staff were exceptionally polite, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. From the moment we checked in, the team assisted us with everything we needed and patiently answered every question we had.

The breakfast was excellent, and the breakfast staff were absolutely wonderful — attentive, friendly, and professional.

Although the hotel does not have its own swimming pool, we were kindly offered access to the facilities of the hotel across the street, which was a very thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated.

We stayed in Room 205 for two nights. There was a little street noise around 1:00 a.m., but it did not affect our overall experience or rest, and of course, this is not the hotel’s fault.

Overall, I would happily recommend this hotel and would definitely return in the future.

Baku is a big busy city but the Merchant is quietly situated on a pedestrian street. It is a charming boutique hotel with interesting artwork, lovely spacious rooms and the most delicious breakfasts. Evening meals also very good. the hotel is well situated as you can walk to the edge of the Caspian Sea, the carpet museum, the old city and is just round the corner from Fountain Square with lots of local restaurants. The staff were extremely kind and helpful

עובדי המלון מאוד נעימים, עזרו לנו והמליצו לנו על מקומות לאכול ולטייל. החדר היה גדול ומרווח, נקי, לא היה חסר שום דבר. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה מצוינת ויש מבחר ! המקום מרכזי, ליד העיר העתיקה וליד הבולוור ויש הרבה בתי קפה ומסעדות גם מתחת למלון כך שזה היה מאוד נוח.

Не первый раз останавливались в The Merchant Baku и остались в полном восторге. Отель расположен просто идеально — в самом центре города, все основные достопримечательности находятся буквально в пешей доступности, что делает отдых особенно комфортным!
Номера очень красивые, просторные и уютные, с продуманным интерьером и атмосферой настоящего комфорта. Отдельно хочется отметить безупречную уборку — в номере всегда было идеально чисто.
Завтраки тоже приятно порадовали: хороший выбор блюд, всё свежее и вкусное, можно легко найти варианты на любой вкус.
И особая благодарность Gafar — за профессионализм, внимательность и искреннее желание помочь. Он помог решить все возникающие вопросы, всегда был очень вежлив и доброжелателен. Такой высокий уровень общения с гостями действительно делает пребывание в отеле замечательным!

The room was beautiful, the locatipn perfect , the staff helpfull and pleasant, especially Jafar at the reception

יש מלונות שמספקים מקום לישון, ויש מלונות שמשאירים אותך עם חיוך על הפנים עוד ימים אחרי שעזבת. The Merchant הוא מהסוג השני — ובפער גדול.

מהרגע הראשון שנכנסנו, הרגשנו לא כמו אורחים אלא כמו אנשים שמחכים להם. הצוות כולו — כל אחד ואחד — מקרין אדיבות אמיתית, לא מנומסות של שירות, אלא יחס אנושי חם ואכפתי שמרגיש כנה לחלוטין. כל בקשה קטנה טופלה בחיוך ובמהירות, וגם מבלי לבקש — ידעו לחוש מה צריך.

אבל מה שבאמת הפתיע אותנו היה מנהל המלון, זכר. כל בוקר, בארוחת הבוקר, הוא היה שם — לא רק “נוכח” אלא באמת מתעניין. ניגש אישית, שאל איך ישנו, איך אנחנו מרגישים, מה התוכניות ליום. זה הסוג של אכפתיות שכמעט ואינה קיימת בתעשיית המלונאות היום, ובוודאי לא ברמה כזו.
המלון עצמו נקי ומטופח ברמה גבוהה מאוד, מיקום יוצא דופן דקה מהעיר העתיקה ומכיכר המזרקות , אבל זה הצוות שהפך את השהייה שלנו לבלתי נשכחת.
לכל מי שמגיע לבאקו — אל תחפשו יותר. The Merchant הוא לא רק מקום לישון, זו חוויה שתזכרו.

We had a very good stay! the hotel is designed beautifully, staff were helpful and nice and we were treated very well.
The room was big, comfortable bed and everything was clean. The area was quiet as well yet it was close to the center which we appreciated greatly. The breakfast was excellent.
