Didn’t use the gym. Breakfast was good
This was our 3rd stay at The Leaf. The carpet in the bedroom looked and felt like it needed a clean
A very convenient and charming lodging in a quieter part of Lisbon but within easy reach of the main downtown points. Room was smallish, but adequate - everything worked. Breakfast was really great. Front desk staff were friendly and happy to guard luggage for us whilst we were out and about.
Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff. Great choices for breakfast. Easy to walk to old town in about half an hour. Easy to catch the metro to get to hotel for only a few euros.
Room had everything but was very small for 2 people. Excellent breakfast!
Nice hotel for a one night stay before going to the airport
Rooms were kept very clean. Breakfast was a delight, very good range with orange juice, coffees, teas, pancakes, sweet pastries, croissants, breads, yoghurts, fruit, preserves and eggs (made fresh any way). Perfect start to the day.
Staff at breakfast wwre really helpful. Location perfect, in an area which wasnt too built up but also walking distance to main sights.
Only criticism was at check-in with the language barrier. The ladies' english wasn't great and I was given incorrect information for how to get the Lisboa card (was told I can get from any station/subway). I also wasn't given a map whereas the receptionist the next day explained everything better and provided a tourist map.
the staff were so helpful and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble. Hot water to make a drink, change for a parking meter, ideas of where to park, ideas of local bars.
The room I had was on the top floor and just had room to walk around the bed but did have plenty of storage and a tiny balcony, complete with chair and with a great view. Interesting breakfast with a breadbasket selection, and lots of bits and bobs plus eggs of your choice. I was with a friend but felt so relaxed whilst waiting for my friend that would stay here as a solo traveller.
BRAVO
We arrived late to find our booking was mixed up by myself and cancelled by booking. Com as I gave them the incorrect card number but the girl on reception valeria was absolutely excellent she went to every effort to get it sorted and got us a room her customer service was second to none and she is a credit to the hotel. Thank you Valeria.
The hotel is in a quiet part of Lisbon, about a 30-minute walk to the city center. The rooms are well-equipped, but very small. The bathroom is clean.
Breakfast is served at the table. You can also order scrambled eggs, etc., I would prefer to be able to choose my own. For example, everyone gets yogurt – many people don't eat it. A nice welcome touch was the pasteis de nata.
There are 1-2 restaurants nearby where you can eat in the evening.
The reception staff is friendly and helpful.
Room was comfy, quiet, good size (superior duble room) with all the amenities and good quality toiletries, coffee/tea machine and a nice terrace. About the staff, I can only mention Jhancarlos from the front desk, a very nice, efficient and helpful young guy who did everything in his power for us to have what we needed; thank you, Jhancarlos! As well I would mention Diogo from the front desk, very helpful too.
Breakfast was at least odd, like I've never experienced before, as all the guests had the same thing every day! You couldn't choose anything else except for the type of coffee/tea and how to have the eggs cooked, if any. Everything was in small quantity: one thin slice of cheese, the same for the tasteless ham, one croissant, one tiny bun, one round stuff looking like an American pancake with a bad taste and one slice of sweet bread. There was a small cup with fresh fruit cubes and one glass of fresh juice (for 2 people), most of the days, orange juice, but we had some melon juice(I guess) one day; a tiny cup of plain yogurt, absolutely the same every day and you could choose a coffee, kinda cappuccino without cream or hot chocolate (the only one that was tasty). There were as well three tiny tiny bowls: one with no more than a teaspoonful of a sort of tasteless jam, one with the same small quantity of honey and the last one with 3 tiny-tiny balls of margarine I assume, as I couldn't eat it. All in all, I only could have the fruits, the jus, an egg and a cup of hot chocolate. I didn't starve, as I don't eat much, but it wasn't definitely a breakfast for the high price asked. I attached some pics with the breakfast, so you can have an idea.
The second issue was with the room cleaning: we only have the room cleaned twice in seven days!
Top quality little hotel, where the guests are looked after by wonderful staff, the breakfast was outstanding. Really enjoyed our few days here, reception staff were really helpful, and their advice added to our enjoyment. The area was quite quiet, and public transport was local.
Men da må man like å gå litt.
Takk for denne gang😊
Dejlig oplevelse
Zimmer sind viel zu klein
Lovely independent hotel. Staff were great - very friendly and helpful especially given we were there during the massive Power outage. Room was fairly small but very clean, very comfy bed and pillows. Bathroom decent size. not particularly noisy. 30-40 minute walk to Rossio/Praca de Comercio. Lovely walk. Lisbon is hilly so expect to walk hills. Breakfast was very tasty and a great surprise. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, pastries and cake and eggs every morning. very good value for money!
