Beautiful hotel, staff are amazing! Views are perfect!
Very concerning experience.
I left my personal medication and shampoo in the room. After contacting the hotel, I was told that nothing had been found.
A serious hotel should inform a guest when personal belongings, especially medication, are found after check-out. If an unpaid minibar item can be identified and charged to your card, surely forgotten belongings can also be identified and reported.
Unfortunately, this experience seriously affected my trust in the hotel.
The hotel offers perfect sea views and is a short stroll (about 10/15 min) from the centre of Sorrento. The view from our suite was stunning. The staff are professional, efficient, and friendly. The breakfast consists of a good selection of items, including optional eggs cooked to order. There is a great rooftop bar with a quiet relaxing vibe which is a lovely way to end the night! Pool area is also really good and has its own a bar and food menu too.
Nothing it is perfect.
The place was beautiful. Was given an upgrade which was great.
It reminded me of the movie the grand Budapest hotel. It is grand in its own way and we loved it
Breakfast can be improved a little with more cheese selection.
We have just returned from a week at the Hotel Bristol and it was fantastic. We travelled as a party of four myself and my husband and my son and his fiancée. The rooms were clean and spacious with stunning views overlooking the bay. We went half board and the food was very good catering well for vegetarians as well. The drinks weren’t particularly expensive either. The staff were extremely welcoming - Luca and Guiseppe in the dining room made us feel very special at every meal. Andrea the bar man in the evening was great fun and always had a joke to share whilst maintaining his professionalism. The reception staff helped with booking tours which were also really good. Sunbeds were never an issue and the pool was always lovely and warm. Perfectly located for a stroll into Sorrento I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
Good location and panoramic view of Sorrento
Nil
The views from up high overlooking Sorrento were great. Not a lot of entertainment, just a piano in the lounge/bar area. Food was absolutely fine. We spent most our evenings walking into the town, lots of high end shops, nice bars/restaurtants around by the port area.
Best hotel experience ever.
The hotel is truly stunning, the views breathtaking. It’s very clean and rooms are very soacious. The views are unbeatable. The food was amazing, best food we’ve ever had in a hotel, fresh and lots of local recipes. Swimming pool is lovely.
Special mention to the restaurant staff, pool bar staff and bar upstairs, they were fabulous. Giuseppe, Luca and Gianluca made us feel so welcome and were very professional. Would definitely go back!
We just returned from a week long stay at the Hotel Bristol in Sorrento and cannot say enough about our wonderful experience! The staff at the Bristol truly treats you like family and is always there with a smile and kind word, especially Luca, Giuseppe and Gianluca! They met us on our first day and remembered us each day after, especially our 7 year old son! The hotel has views that are unsurpassed, right from our personal balcony as well as the on-site restaurant and amazing pool! The location was amazing as well, with a 10 minute walk down to Corso Italia with many restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay and care we received from everyone at the Hotel Bristol, would definitely return!
We returned from the Hotel Bristol on the 24/07/2026. This was our second visit there as we had such a lovely time the previous year.
This year we stayed in Villa Bianca suites-number 326 and as per the description on the hotel website, this is reached by several steps, once you turn left prior to the swimming pool. The steps are surrounded by gardens and lemon groves with plenty of seating areas. I must say that the suite was excellent and the views were amazing across the Gulf of Naples.
The decking area is equipped with a large table and chairs, sun loungers, rattan furniture, a hammock and a hydro massage jacuzzi.
The accommodation is clean and fresh with a large four poster bed and separate lounge area equipped with a fridge with mini bar.
Reception do arrange for luggage to be delivered to the suite on arrival, and I must give a special mention to Grazia at Reception. She remembered us from last year and is extremely helpful and professional.
We booked half board, so breakfast and evening meal, although you can swap your evening meal for lunch if you would like to head into the centre of Sorrento, which is literally no more than a ten-minute walk.
The service from the restaurant staff was fantastic, they even have a vegan and vegetarian menu. We loved the food there and I must give praise to Luca, Gianluca, Giuseppe and Carmine to mention just a few. They also remembered us from last year. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and they go above and beyond your expectations.
Breakfast is served buffet style with a great selection of hot and cold food. The chef makes fresh omelettes etc to order.
It is the little things here that make this hotel stand out, such as a sincere smile, remembering you, what you like to drink and eat etc. It was also a privilege to meet the owner Giancarlo Acampora.
I cannot praise the hotel and staff enough and would encourage people to visit.
We are already planning our visit for next year.
Beautiful place with one of the most beautiful pools I ever been in in the12th floor, really kind and caring staff that helped us with anything from what to do to where to eat and did it with a great smile, 10/10 experience
Our second stay at Hotel Bristol was every bit as wonderful as we remembered – if not even better! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by the friendly and professional reception team. We were absolutely delighted that the hotel had remembered us and allocated us the very same room on the 6th floor that we had last year. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our return feel even more special.
The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, and the views were simply mesmerising. Waking up each morning to breathtaking panoramas and spending time admiring the stunning scenery was a real highlight of our week.
The restaurant is another standout feature, with spectacular views overlooking Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius. Breakfast offered an excellent selection to suit every taste, and the egg station was a fantastic addition – the freshly made omelettes were absolutely delicious. Each evening, dinner was exceptional, with an impressive variety of beautifully prepared dishes that made every meal something to look forward to.
The restaurant staff deserve special mention for their warm hospitality. They were always welcoming, friendly and attentive, ensuring every dining experience was enjoyable.
As the sun set each evening, there was no better place to relax than the bar, soaking up the incredible sunsets while enjoying a refreshing Limoncello Spritz – the perfect way to end each day.
Hotel Bristol truly is an outstanding hotel in every way. From its stunning location and immaculate rooms to its exceptional food and outstanding staff, it exceeded our expectations once again. We cannot wait to return for our third visit!
The hitel itself is lovely, fantastic location and easy to get to lots of places like Capri, Almafi, Pompi etc. The staff were very welcoming and the breakfast and dinner was really nice.
However, the noise from the road right outside the hotel was horrendous. Something Tui forgot to mention. Tui have rooms in the first 2 floors only - the noisy ones. The original Tui lady we spoke to was not interested when we brought it up. Tui on line said it was a hotel problem, not theirs. The hotel said it was a Tui issue. We spent three nights with no sleep. The hotel moved us to floor 2, it was worse! Moved us to floor 7, much quieter but a substantially lower grade room. Chipped sunk and bath tiles, shower panel was hanging off, telephone didn't work, TV didn't work. Not the standard you expect for a £2000 one week stay.
Spoke to another Tui rep, Laura. She spoke to the gitel and we were given a room on floor 8. Fabulous. But when we went to move the owner had arranged another upgrade. The room and terrace were perfect and quiet. We finally had 2 nights sleep and felt we could enjoy our last few days there. It was a shame this was not sorted out immediately by Tui and the hotel.
We were so disappointed in both and unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who was to sleep whilst on holiday. It absolutely spoilt it for us. We both work for the emergency services and have one week a year away together.
We will never go back and probably never go with Tui again.
