Hotel Bristol

A memory i will never forget. From check in at this hotel we were given 5 star experience. We arrived late and i was so hungry, not thinking the hotel would offer food this late at night, but instead straight from a quick check in they directed us to the 7th floor restaurant where they had prepared the late arrival guest a beautiful buffet! we then went to our room which was a balcony sea view, so worth the extra money. The room was very traditional italian with coloured tiled floor, which at first i didn't think i could get used to but within a day i loved the decor. The hotel breakfast was perfect, as my partner likes to sleep in i used the gym then headed to breakfast solo which i prefer anyway! Luca , and giuseppe were amazing, every morning luca made me my coffee with a smiley face on, and Giuseppe was so welcoming always taking me to my table and pulling my seat out for me. This was just such personable service and made the start of the day perfect. Wow what can i say about sorrento, just a truly amazing place, but i will be here all day talking about it! The hotel could not be in a more perfect location with only a 10 minute walk to the main town, it has a lovely pool area, gorgeous bar area with a view point across sorrento, i loved sitting here before we went into town, with a margherita! We had half board which we used twice, only as we like to head out to try places, but the food was absolutely perfect, a menu each night and 5star table service. I really did not want to leave this place and i would recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much for a lasting memory for me and my partner x

Just wow!!! The hotel is in a stunning location with the most amazing views of mountains Vesuvius and Sorrento. The hotel itself is gorgeous and is made better by the wonderful food. But the standout for us was the staff - nothing was ever too much trouble and they make you feel like you’re the only people in the World that matter!!! We loved everyone from the pool staff, the bar men (Alex and Andrea were amazing), to the restaurant staff (with special shoutouts to Luca and Giuseppie). I cried when I left!!!

I can see why this hotel gets such good reviews. Location very good, just above the smaller of Sorrento’s 2 marinas which is about a 15 minute walk. The views across the bay to Vesuvius are spectacular so spend extra on a sea view room with balcony. Our room was a good size and cleaned daily. All staff are really friendly and helpful. Half board food was mostly very good and when you want to eat out it’s a 10 minute walk to the start of the main area where there are loads of great places to eat. In hotel drinks prices are very fair eg you can get a decent bottle of wine with your meal for €25-30. Pool is a good size with plenty of sun beds although for our second week (we went July 3-17) the hotel was busier so there was a bit of a morning race to grab them. We spoke to a lot of people who had stayed there multiple times because they like it so much. It’s very good value for what you get and all in all thoroughly recommended.

This was our third stay at the Bristol Hotel, and once again it exceeded every expectation. It is, without question, my favorite hotel I have ever stayed in.

From the moment you arrive, every member of staff makes you feel genuinely welcome. The warmth and kindness shown by everyone gives the hotel such a special atmosphere—it truly feels like the hotel is giving you the biggest hug when you walk through the doors. I was actually in tears when it was time to leave, and that is entirely because of the incredible level of care and service we received throughout our stay.

Our room was the best we have ever had, and I would like to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone at reception for making that happen. It meant the world to me and my family, and we are so grateful.

We travelled with our two children, and they loved every minute of the holiday. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and spotlessly clean—I have never seen a hotel maintained to such an impeccable standard. Every area sparkled.

The pool area was peaceful, relaxing, and beautifully kept, while the pool bar was fantastic with very reasonable prices. The hotel is also just a short stroll from the local shops and restaurants, making it the perfect location.

Breakfast was always a highlight of our day. Being greeted each morning by Luca and his wonderful team made every breakfast feel special. They were always smiling, friendly, and attentive. It was also lovely to see so many familiar faces still working at the hotel after all these years. That says so much about the Bristol Hotel and the wonderful environment it has created. It has an old-world charm and genuine hospitality that is becoming increasingly rare to find.

The views from the hotel over the Bay of Naples and Marina Grande are simply breathtaking and something we will never tire of.

Although the hotel may be a little more expensive than some others, it is worth every single penny. Treat yourself—you won't regret it. The experience, the service, the atmosphere, and the memories you take home are priceless.

The Bristol Hotel will always hold a very special place in my heart, and I know we will continue to return for many years to come. Thank you to every single member of the team for another unforgettable holiday. We already miss you all so much and cannot wait to return. Until next time!

The view can’t be beat and is worth the very short walk to the city center. The service was fantastic!

Beautiful property on an elevation with excellent views of the bay of Naples . The property was very clean and the rooms were comfortable and well equipped including hairdryer , minibar , toiletries and slippers. We had a beautiful large balcony and enjoyed sitting out of the evening .Lovely breakfast room with a choice of continental and cooked options including an omelette station. The hotel itself is what I would describe a classically Italian with old ornate decor. The pool was in a great position on the roof next to a snack bar, towels were provided .
Staff were very courteous and helpful especially reception staff who made excellent restaurant recommendations and supported with transport requests.

Absolutely brilliant. If you want to know how to deliver first class hospitality then this is place to visit. Cleanliness, facilities, food, location, rooms are all superb but the best of all is the staff. They are so helpful and really make your stay so enjoyable. A special thank you to Luca and the team in the restaurant. You gave us many happy memories and we had so much fun with you guys. We can’t wait to come back.

The Hotel Bristol is what you want a good hotel to be. Service is key . Staff are courteous and helpful from Grace at reception to Luca, Giuseppe, Nadia, Gian Luca and others in the restaurants and of course Andreas and Alex in the Bar. The view of the Bay of Naples from the hotel is exceptional. We stayed in room 711 which was cool and comfortable and had a great balcony. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful and the half board dinners were excellent. The hotel organised Anna to pick us up from Naples airport (euro 130) and back to a Naples Hotel (euro 160 ) and she was terrific. Do NOT take taxis from Sorrento centre to the Hotel . Euro 25 for a 6 minute 2km journey is robbery and of course the card machine was not working so cash please. The 008 bus stops outside the Hotel and runs on the half hour . Tickets can be bought from the shop 200 metres down the road ( euro 1.50 each ) . All and all a great stay.

We have just returned from a week in this fantastic hotel. From the panoramic views of the bay, great food and without doubt the best staff in a hotel i have ever come across. Nothing is too much bother for Luca and his colleagues and they create a real feeling of family, chatting to guests and making everyone feel at home. The breakfast was exceptional with a good variety of cooked and continental style as well as made to order eggs and omelettes. The pool area is beautiful with no issue getting beds. A really relaxed atmosphere. Really looking forward to going back already!

Yet again the airport experience at Naples was extremely challenging. However there were several staff on hand to assist travellers needing to complete the entry paperwork and registrations.
Thankfully when we arrived at the Bristol it was everything we remembered.
Reception staff warmly welcomed us and check in was swift. We were escorted to our room on the 9th floor and very shortly afterwards our bags arrived.
The room was spotless, roomy, bright with a good sized bathroom with all the facilities you expect from an Hotel of this standard. Room was cleaned daily and kept spotless.
The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, a glorious vista over Sorrento and out across the Bay of Naples with Mt Vesuvius as the back drop , pure heaven.
The restaurants have stunning views whilst dining. We were on a half board basis and ate breakfast and dinner alternating between the 2 restaurants for dinner.
The food is one of the reasons we came back here, it is of the very highest quality with a good choice on the menu each evening to satisfy all tastes.
On top of the location, views, excellent quality food and overall facilities the icing on the cake yet again has proven to be the Staff at the Bristol. Every single member of staff we encountered could not do enough to make our stay the very best it could be. They were all polite professional knowledgeable and engaging from Reception to the bars and Luca and the restaurant teams.
They all genuinely seem to want to make your stay just perfect, which they did.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bristol, The hotel is beautiful,the room was lovely spacious and spotless with an amazing view.
Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, Luca and his team were exceptional.
The location is excellent for getting to Marina Grande and the main town.
We could not have asked for a better experience for our first time in Sorrento.

Just returned again from the hotel Bristol, what a fabulous hotel this is, with spectacular views across the Bay of Naples, exceptional staff and wonderful service from front of house, restaurant, bars and house keeping. We were allocated room 807 which was spacious with breathtaking views from the balcony.
Special thanks to Luca, Jon Luca,Nardia and all the restaurant staff, who always went the extra mile to ensure you had the best experience. Christian and Alexis at the bar, Emiliana and Pepe at the pool bar, front of house who were always very helpful.

Anyone who is due to stay at this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Had a lovely week at the Hotel Bristol after a 3 year absence. Think it was our 17th visit. Booked for October this year, we love it so much.
The food is excellent, the hotel immaculate, the staff are wonderful.
Upon arriving to leaving, its a wonderful place to be.

We had such a lovely stay. We cannot fault the hotel at all. Our view from the sixth floor looking out over the harbour was spectacular. All the staff from reception to cleaning were absolutely lovely, and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. We’d like to give a special mention to our waiter Giuseppe who was always a pleasure to see, We had the most wonderful time and we will definitely be going back in the future
