Amazing experience visiting Hotel Bristol's bar! Greeted by friendly staff and an incredible view of the Sorrentine Peninsula/Gulf of Naples! Big shout out to Alex and Andrea for making the experience even better with jokes and discussions about the surrounding area! Get to know them if they're wokring! Definitely recommend having a drink or two while your staying or visiting in Sorrento!

Hotel Bristol was welcoming and very friendly. We had a lovely room with a sea view. All the staff were professional and hard working and did everything to make our stay memorable. The dining room was beautiful and the food was delicious offering a good choice. The bar was spacious and stylish and the staff attentive. The hotel is a short walk to the centre of Sorrento so very convenient. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Everything was perfect including the room and the service. Location is top, best in Sorrento.

We are on an airplane on our way home. We spent three weeks in Europe, starting with five days in Sorrento and finishing in Copenhagen. It was a great trip, but the Bristol was the highlight and will remain in our hearts and memories as long as we have breath.

We splurged on one of the rooms with the outside jacuzzi; but we never used it. The weather was not ideal—most days we had a steady wind coming off the water and we didn’t want to go to the effort of filling it.

Nevertheless, we cannot overemphasize how lovely the hotel and its spectacular views are. Often, hotel pictures in brochures and on the internet tend to make the hotel seem nicer than it actually is. Not so with the Bristol.

The hotel was kept spotless. No matter where we were, even on our balcony, I thought we could eat off the floor.

Some reviewers have commented about the uphill walk from the town to the hotel. We are in our mid-70s and it was far from strenuous. It constituted a nice stroll after dinner in Sorrento.

After we had been there several days, we decided we would take a walk and look at the pool. It was too cold for us to use it, but it is beautiful. I suspect it is a focal point in warmer months. We were delighted to find a wonderful garden and orchard on the hotel property near the pool. The citrus trees were loaded with fruit and the roses, wisteria, and other flowers created an intoxicating smell.

We arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon after flying from Texas and then spending three hours traipsing around Pompeii. We were tired, so we opted to eat in the hotel. We were more than pleasantly surprised. The food was well-above what we expect in hotel dining rooms, the service was fantastic, the dining room was beautiful, and the views were breathtaking. Luca, the maitre’d, asked our room number when we entered and never asked it again. We had breakfast there every morning. The buffet was excellent and the hotel’s executive chef was there every morning preparing the most beautiful omelets I’ve ever seen. Luca and his wait staff warrant special recognition.

We can see why guests return to this hotel over and over. It’s magical

Breathtaking views, with the warmest people. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. The room we had was bright and clean with an amazing view. The location of the hotel is situated on a hill which gives you a breathtaking panoramic view of the coast, and mount Vesuvius. We was on the second floor and the noise level was minimal. We think the value and cost of the hotel is good, we see some of the prices on some of the other hotels, this was a good deal.
The rooms were cleaned everyday, as was the hotel. Situated in an ideal place as a walk to town Is a very short walk. There is a rooftop bar by the pool, and the evening bar which has a chilled laid back feel.
The food, the breakfast was good, something for everyone, try the omelette very nicely done.
We did find evening meals a little hit and miss for our liking, we tried lunch and found it was a little better. Selection of pastas, pizzas, burger in bun, calamari, much more to chose from.
I would like to thank all the staff Infront of desk, behind the scenes the cleaners, waiters ect for always having a smile and making us feel like one of the family.
When we arrived late they had kept the restaurant open for us with some hot food, this was very much appreciated after our journey. A beautiful place full of beautiful people.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in Hotel Bristol, I cannot praise it enough, the hotel itself is wonderful with amazing views and the staff are fantastic. They go the extra mile for you with a particular mention to Luca and his staff in the restaurant and Alex and Andreas in the bar. Breakfast was buffet style and dinner à la carte and was very good. Hotel Bristol is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento so it has everything for everyone.

Location, elegant building, amazing staff, super clean, I booked a double superior with balcony and ocean view that was amazing. Great breakfast! Im glad I have chosen Bristol Hotel for my stay at Sorrento. I will be back. Thank you

We can highly recommend this establishment. This was our second stay here and the standards are as high as ever.
The hotels location is perfect ,overlooking old Sorrento marina ,the Bay of Naples and Vesuvious in the background. The town is a short 5/10 min walk which is ideal.
The Hotel is kept exceptionally clean throughout with a high standard of housekeeping.
The food is excellent at breakfast and dinner , plenty to choose from , plus its waiter service with a smile. Drinks are reasonably priced for a hotel of this standard. The pool bar also offers some nice lunch options.
The best thing about this hotel and will keep us coming back, is the wonderful staff. Every staff member we met were absolutely marvellous and we would like to thank them all .
In particular Emiliana in the pool bar , such a lovely lady who always greeted us with a smile and made us feel so welcome. The young man who was often working with Emiliana was also really nice.The wonderful Giuseppe a true gentleman with over 40 years service.
The lovely Carmine who always took the time to talk to us and Gianluca with his welcoming smiles.And Giovanni the brilliant chef , always so pleasent and of course not forgetting the boss Luca keeping everything running so smoothly.
If you stay here you will not be disappointed,  we will be back again soon.

Never having been to sorrento before we were totally in the dark about where to stay and what quality the hotels were in the area. After reading a few reviews and looking at the map we chose the Bristol for a few reasons.. Not being accomplished travelers and always very wary of eating out our choice was mainly because of the half board offered by the hotel and it's location to the centre of Sorrento. To cut a long story short we could have not chosen a better hotel.
The location and views were stunning, the cleanliness and general presentation were outstanding and the staff were attentive and helpful. (Especially Andrea and Alex in the bar. A big l thanks to them for looking after us)
Great food.....breakfast omelets to die for and a great choice of dishes in the evening.
Would definitely reccomend the Bristol to anyone looking to stay in Sorrento.
