Unterkunft schwer zu finden, wirkt von außen wie ein billiges Motel. Kein Frühstück, bei der Ankunft fühlt man sich nicht wirklich willkommen. Betten für amerikanische Verhältnisse ok

Everything about the property is amazing. Its location is centralized & offers free parking. Entry into the facility is super simple. The rooms & common areas are elegant, organized & offer the best amenities. We had a king with balcony & the room was huge. They have a really cool feature which offers you entrance to the building & room. No need for keys. Big bonus points. Marcy was beyond helpful & truly welcoming. A genuinely gem. Definitely coming back when I want to see Solvang & get a staycation.

Let me start by saying that I wasn't aware that this was an unmanned hotel until after we booked it. Everything started off good. The staff called me a few days before my trip to tell me that they didn't have my email address. And to get a credit card. So I received a text the day of my arrival saying that I would receive a email closer to check in, which I did. That email gave me a confirmation # and the name of our suite. ( The clock tower suite) When we arrived it was a litttle hard to find the hotel because it's down behind a pub and a donut shop. But we found it. When we got out of our vehicle there was an elderly couple asking for help because they also didn't know it was unmanned. I correctly assumed that my confirmation number was my pass code. Although my email did not state that. The elderly couple had no idea whatbwas going on. So I showed them how to use the touch pad to get in. Once in I was as lost as they were. Im booked in the clock tower suite. So I looked everywhere for some signage saying that. Nope just room numbers. So I texted the number that they said I should if I had a problem. I got no response. So I called a separate number and got a voicemail. So I wait and call back later. I got a young lady to answer and I tell her my problem. She says it should say Clock tower suite. I tell her it does not. So I ask her what is my room number? She says hold on I'm going to email you a map. So I again say does the clock tower suite have a room #. She said yes it # 11. I then ask, would it not be much simpler to just state that in the email? She said I dont know why they do that. So we get in and the room is large and nicely decorated. The next problem starts that night. When we arrived the bedroom blind was half way up. It was motorized and controlled by a switch on the wall. Well it went down until about 4 in he's from the bottom. Then stopped. They is a giant street lamp right outside the bedroom window.

We enjoyed staying in this hotel,my family wants to go there again.
Pros:

Very nice hotel,everything was perfect, but cleaning people were noisy early in the morning,and park across from hotel had a loud music at 5 am,it wasn't nice of them...

They did not inform us about the street closed to a farmers market. We were unable to park our car in the Winston parking lot

Beat location in Solvang.
Pros:

Location and room size were exceptional. Shower and bathroom were excellent. Good communication with staff via text. Easy check in.
