Cheap place to stay if you need to
Pros:

Cheapest thing in town seemed like. Ok location. Cafes and restaurants close by.

Pros:

We didn’t stay here after seeing the real condition. We even didn’t ask for refund since we were the ones who decide to not stay here.

Cons:

Everything, sadly. The pictures on this website were taken many years ago I believe. Because the real condition of the room that given to us was way much worse.

The walls and ceiling of the room were full of mold and very damp. The towels given to us were very yellowish, with threads sticking out, very unsuitable for use, even the doormat in our house was much proper and cleaner than that. The smell of cigarettes was very pungent. I didn't complain to the staff because for IDR 150k I didn't have high expectations.

But actually, before deciding to book any room, I always read people's reviews and checked the detail of each photo of the property one by one. So I could say, I was totally fooled by the photos and reviews of this property. Very different from the actual conditions. In the end, we decided to stay at my regular four-star hotel across the street. At first, we decided to stay at this cheap hotel because we arrived in Bengkulu at midnight and had to leave very early the next morning. So I thought it was okay to stay at a cheap hotel for 4-5 hours as long as the room were clean and decent. I didn't expect that much difference between the actual conditions and the photos on the website. And the most disturbing thing was, many couples came to this place. I brought a 2-year-old child and their walls were very thin, the voices of the couples could be heard from the hallway to the room. There was no privacy protecting here, I guess. I highly suggest those of you who bring small children or go with elders to look for another proper hotel that is more family-friendly.

We didn’t take any pictures of the room because we were not sure if it was allowed to do so since we decided to not stayed there. As for staff, I have no problem at all.

It is ok to stay for a few nights but the Wi-Fi is non-existent. Coffee machine is in the staff room

Staff were nice and able to accommodate a room change after the first room had a leaking bathroom tap and AC.

Cons:

Sheets had obviously been used for many years and do not get a deep clean.

A cheap option for us to get a few hours sleep between shared cars from Padang to Krui. We appreciated being allowed an early check in.

An Okay Stay
Pros:

Room was affordable. The toilet dried very fast.

Cons:

The facilities were clearly showing their age, but at least there was a bucket to collect water for the dripping aircon. Generally clean room, but the age spots and stains in the room didn't really make a great impression.
