The only thing I felt good was the receptionist.
To whom it may concern, On 1/6/26, approx 8.30pm when I drove my car at the exit of the hotel, the fence no response and cannot open, therefore I speak via intercom to someone from the hotel. Surprisingly the staff reply at the intercom first word is “atai”? I totally don’t understand and others in my car also don’t understand what the staff talking about and cannot hear it very clearly, hence I ask again, after I asked again, the staff shouted at me and talk very rude and unpleasantly. I would like to know how the hotel SOP for the staff when speak to your guest? For standard and proper speaking should be for example: how may I help you? May I know what is your car number or room number? Not the first word atai? The staff use the pattern talk in pasar when work in hotel? Please lah this kind of staff will definitely screw up your hotel image! I will never ever visit your hotel again in my next trip and even recommend to my business partners, friends and family when they plan for a company or family trip in Batu Ferringhi. I believe others will not understand what is the meaning of atai when they ask to open the fence at the exit. This kind of staff never train properly by listening to their extremely worst speaking attitude. By the way, please also update your parking system in your hotel especially the exit fence, it brought many inconvenience to the guest who stay in your hotel. This is a terrible experience I travel around the world from Europe to Asia. Worst hotel service in Asia region especially Bahang Bay Hotel in Penang Batu Ferringhi 👎 No more next stay in this Shouted Guest Hotel ☠️ Anyhow, the receptionist is friendly and know how to communicate with guests. The staff who answer via intercom at car park exit is terrible 😵💫

toilet clogged and pillow too soft and not comfortable while sleeping. need to improve the front office service , i was there before 3pm and queu to check in at 256pm but my rooms were not ready and receptionist will call me when it is ready. i waited until 340 and not received any call and when i checked at the reception counter, my rooms were ready, there is no courtesy to give any complimentary like breakfast or late check out to compensate my time waiting. we paid coffee, chocolate drink and cake at the hotel but the tastes were so so compared to the price

They delayed my check in time and also irresponsible. Even the buffet food is not nice at all. Overcrowded and didn’t have facilities up to par.
