Probably the most disappointing part of our stay at Gili Air which was otherwise pretty amazing :)
Pros:

Enjoyed the pool, bean bags and the fact that the hotel was relatively empty. Main positive was that, because it was low season, our room was ready immediately and we could check in before the official time.

Cons:

Disappointing stay — misleading photos and poor standards We chose this hotel mainly because it advertised a working area (based on the photos available online). When we arrived, we were told it wasn’t available — which was frustrating, especially since the hotel was practically empty (no other guests on our floor, and only a handful of people in the entire building). Overall, the reality didn’t match the pictures at all. The standard of the room and facilities was far below what’s shown online. The bathroom was in poor condition, and the shower had very low water pressure. On top of that, we found two cockroaches in the room, which says everything about cleanliness.

No recomiendo si buscas un minimo de comodidad

La ubicación y su precio y que tenia piscina. Había mineral water en la recepción gratis.

Cons:

El colchón era lamentable. Después de dormir ahí 2 noches voy a necesitar unos cuantos masajes. El colchón estaba super hundido y muy muy incomodo, al igual que las almohadas, me han hecho coger turticulitis. Luego tampoco nos cambiaron las toallas al día siguiente. Si buscas una mínima comodidad no lo recomiendo. La habitación es un zulo, muy muy pequeña.

The location is phenomenal!
Also a pool in front of the room is nice to have.

Cons:

It is a homestay for 25€ per night, which I think in Indonesia is a little overpriced.
It is next to the mosque - earplugs needed.

Awesome modern clean facilities, lovely staff and great location
Pros:

Facilities was good, staff helpful and friendly, location is great.

Slight gap in sliding door, bathroom has open air design which is nice but mosquitos constantly entering.
